Here, in the heart of the historical Prague, where the Charles Bridge connects to the castle in the Old town, you'll find Hotel Residence Lundborg. But, at the same time Residence Lundborg is an almost 700 year old house piously restored with beautiful rooms and a stylish interior.

In the neighbourhood there are plenty of cozy restaurants, genuine Czech pubs and exciting boutiques and galleries as well. Within walking distance you'll find sights such as the Prague Castle, Saint Vitus Cathedral, and the Old Town square.

Right in the historical and culture hear of Prague, only a few steps from the Charles Bridge you will find a 700 years old house as a luxury hotel with all kind of suites and apartments.

All interesting place as Prague Castle, Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, Lesser Town Square, Wenceslas Square, Powder Tower and State Opera House are in walking distance. The National Theatre, National Museum, the Exhibition area or the Congress Centre only few minutes by taxi.

Equipment in the suite: living room with computer, TV set, safe, hifi, direct dial telephone, bedroom with twin bed or king size bed, jacuzzi and hairdryer in the bathroom and kitchen with fridge and minibar.

The building that is now Hotel Residence Lundborg used to be called "U modreho Iva" which means "At the Blue Lion's" in English.

The very first note taking about the building is from 1336. A few decenniums later King Karl IV ordered the production of a new bridge to replace Bridge Judith, which was destroyed during severe weather and was flooded 1342. The remains of Bridge Judith are now kept at the entrance, dining room, and wine cellar of the Hotel.

During the last hours of the 30 yearlong war the Swedes were stopped at the Charles Bridge 1648 in Prague.

The building was probably renovated or additions were made around 1770. The beautiful paintings on the ceilings of many rooms probably were derived from this renovation.

We have built an Internet centre in Hotel Residence Lundborg consisting of a few servers, and a conference- and class-room that is equipped with 12 multimedia computers. The technology and knowledge that we have gathered makes the centre perfect for many different occasions; everything from basic training, courses in the European ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence), as well as more advanced courses, and/or fitformed courses for a certain license or certificate. Further, you can buy preplanned packages and use our experienced and carefully selected instructors, or you can plan your own curriculum with your own choice of instructors.

When it comes to language, we can offer you English-, Czechian-, and Swedish speaking instructors. Another exciting thought is to use Residence Lundborg as a Physical meeting place for courses over the Internet. Such courses many times need to start with a kick-off, as well as they need to end with a physical meeting at the time of graduation.
