Hilton strongest Czech hotel again |

Prague, July 18 (CTK) - Food Service magazine has again declared the Prague Hilton the strongest hotel in the Czech Republic. The Hilton saw sales of CZK 1.314 billion in 2005 but its turnover decreased by 5.7 percent against the previous year.
More than 200 large hotels took part in the survey, the magazine's twelfth. Some big players, such as Moevenpick, Don Giovanni, Four Seasons and Intercontinental, refused to publish their data.
The aggregate average occupancy in the monitored hotels was 58.76 percent, a decline from 59.47 percent in 2004. The price of a hotel room reached an average CZK 1,733 last year, CZK 7 more than a year earlier.
The magazine will publish the ranking of the top 50 hotels in its July issue. Last year, the Hilton was followed by the Marriott, Corinthia Tower, Renaissance and Radisson. From among hotels outside Prague, the Pupp in Karlovy Vary, western Bohemia, was in the top 10.
