We stayed at red Lion (Lesser Town-Prague) in December 2007. This is a **** star hotel and we requested a nonsmoking room. The hotel is very charming, romantic, only few steps from the Prague Castle and we would recommended if it was not for bedding and pillows that were soak in cigarettes smoke. If you cannot stand cigarettes smoke, be aware!

My girlfriend and I stayed here last week for three nights and had a good stay. Though definitely not a 4 star hotel as they market themselves we weren\'t expecting it to be either. It is a charming hotel with a good location. The painted roof and old furniture are big pluses, the staff (of which most spoke decent english) were nice. On the minus-side is the pretty small breakfast.

Nestled in the city of Prague, within walking distance of the Palace - the Red Lion Hotel - ROARS!
We were located on the top (3rd floor) of this quaint hotel with a spectacular view of the streets. NO elevator in this hotel, so if you have alot of luggage or cannot climb stairs, make sure you ask for the 1st level (steep stairs to the 3rd floor).
Room was huge, furniture nostalgic and romantic. Quiet area of Prague. Good brisk walk to the St.Charles Bridge - but worth it.
Restaurant had traditional Czech food and was very good.
Highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely visit again and \"climb to the top floor\" - worth the view.

I stayed at Red Lion for 3 nights with my family; I would say it was nearly perfect, we stayed on the second floor and the room was so classic, with those lovely old-fashioned furniture! There were two big wardrobes in the room with plenty of hangers!! The bathroom was not big but very clean. There was no air-conditioner but we\'ve got two fans in our room.
One thing I have to mention is the hotel staff were really friendly and helpful, since I lost one of my lugguage at Prague airport, I notified the front-desk staff to keep an eye if anything was sent from airport, as I left the hotel details with the airline. The staff
then kept me updated every morning to see if they heard from anything
from the airline! I was really impressed by their help, though I could only found my lugguage on the day I left, I do appreciate what they\'ve done.
I highly recommed this hotel to other travellers and I would definitely come back again!

We stayed here for the bank holiday weekend, and I cannot fault it. It is in a great location, just at the foot of the castle, and within walking distance of the Charles Bridge and the Old Town. Our rooms were lovely and spacious, with beautiful old furniture. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and the staff couldn\'t have been more helpful. I would definitely stay here again!
