About: Frantiskovy Lazne lies in the most western part of the Czech Republic, near the venerable frontier town of Cheb. The oldest records about the local cold springs and healing peat originate from the 12th century. The famous German poet of 19th century J.W.Goethe was fascinated by the park design, architectural beauty and its healing facilities so much, that he called Frantiskovy Lazne "paradise on the earth".
