Prague, Czech Republic Hotels and Apartments

A group of four of us have just returned from a 5 night stay At the U Tri Bubnu in Prague. I have only praise for the hotel, it is clean, spacious, the beds are very comfortable and the staff are very helpful. But the best plus points are the location and price. The hotel is situated very close the Old town square where there are lots of local bars in the vicinity.

Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Myself and four friends have just returned from a trip to Prague where we stayed at U Tri Bubnu (the Three Drums). The hotel is really well located just around the corner from the Old Town Square and within walking distance to all attractions. The staff were really helpful. They organised a minivan to pick us up at the airport (cost us 750czk between 5) and to bring us back. On our first night we went to the Nutcracker Ballet in the National Theatre and they booked dinner for us in a nearby restaurant (le Lourve really good food and reasonable) and organised the minivan to take us there and collect us after the ballet. The following day we decided to do the city tour and they organised for the tour operators to pick us up outside the hotel. The hotel itself was great. Comfortable rooms and very reasonable. The only problem was the stairs. Breakfast was ok. Typical european breakfast but there was enough and tea, coffee, orange juice etc were topped up regularly. If we go again we would definitely stay here and have no problem recommending the hotel to friends. A good place to eat in the Old Town Square is U Prince. Food was good and reasonable and its opposite the Astronomical Clock.

What a spot! Couldn\'t be any closer to Old Town Square where the action is, and what a great staff... helped us find a delicious meal when we arrived famished. We were upgraded at their expense to room 17 (yes it is quite a hike up all those stairs) which was well worth it. Great attic suite with an awesome view. Couldn\'t have had a better home base for our sightseeing.
