Julia & Chris The House at the Three Drums Hotel is superbly situated in the Old Town Square with everything easily reachable by foot.
We only had three days here but enjoyed every minute.
The Hotel is traditional, unspoilt and tastefully decorated. There are quite a lot of stairs to the attic room which is to be expected with a room at the top of an old building. The original stone staircase does add charm and character to the building which would be lost with the introduction of a lift. A word of advice here is, if you are likely to struggle with stairs then don\'t book a room at the top!! but there are equally nice rooms on the lower levels.
We had an attic room which we found spacious, yet cosy and extremely comfortable. The original exposed beams and dormer windows really added a fantastic atmosphere to our stay.
The bathroom had a shower in a small bath or large deep shower tray which ever way you want to look at it. Not enough room in this tub to relax but you won\'t want to waste time doing so in this city with so much to see & do. Yet again you have to be sympathetic and appreciate the constraints in transforming and existing old building into a charming hotel with an abundance of character.
Generally the hotel was immaculately clean throughout with clean towels and beds made every day.
We found the breakfast adequate and typical to most continental breakfasts. Breakfast is served in the adjoining restaurant that shares the same entrance lobby as the hotel. The hotel has its own reception entrance off this lobby so no need to worry about any noise from restaurant customers. Incidentally the restaurant is extremely good also and a great novelty.
All the staff that we had the pleasure in meeting were so friendly and always greeted us with a \'genuine\' smile even when we returned back at 4.30am after a long evening out. They were always more than happy to help with any matter and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel arranged a driver to pick us up from the airport to ensure that we were not taken advantage of by other taxi companies. The receptionist even went outside and agreed a fixed price with a taxi for us when we needed to venture further a field one evening. Our transport back to the airport was also arranged at reception.
To sum up, this is a quality hotel in all aspects, in a prime location. We will most definitely be returning to the Three Drums Hotel again.

Milton Keynes I stayed at the U Tri Bubnu hotel for 2 nights on 2-4 March with 5 friends. We loved the hotel, its very clean, and our rooms were very spacious (rooms 8 and 18). The staff were always friendly and really helpful. Great location, close to everything. We didn\'t find the stairs a problem but can understand how they would be a problem for the less mobile. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast but much better than expected, always plenty to eat even though we arrived late for breakfast on both mornings. Will definitely be going back to this hotel.
PS my only fault with the hotel was that they don\'t have tea/coffee making facilities in the room

Dublin This small hotel is ideally located beside The Old Town Square. The staff are very helpful and friendly, there is free internet access and a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast is adequate. Rooms have lots of character and are spotlessly clean, each has TV/ DVD/mini-bar and a unique design. No gym but you will get lots of exercise climbing the stairs as there isn\'t a lift - but don\'t let that put you off. A very pleasant change from \"chain\" hotels where all the rooms look the same.

Barnsley, South Yorkshire This hotel is wonderful. Right in the centre of Prague. The staff on our arrival were extremely friendly and could not do enough for you. I had booked the Hotel direct through their web site and we were given the rooms we had requested , Nos 9 & 13. The rooms were very large and cleaned every day. The breakfast was great, plent of fruit juice, tea, coffee, fresh bread to toast, fruit, yoghurst cereals etc. We came down to breakfast at around 9.30 each morning and there was always plenty. The hotel has no lift so is no good for people who can not use stairs. The beds are the most comfortable I have slept in which were very welcome after a long day sightseeing.
Prague itself is a beautiful city and when we were ther in April the weather was warm and sunny. Most of the bars we went in were clean and the beer is cheap if you drink in bars away from the square. There is a lovely bar in a secluded courtyard just down some step a the end of Charles Bridge on the left hand side, quite chepa and lovely cakes. All in all a great holiday and we will certainley make a return visit to the city and especially this hotel - 5 star
