Hotel At the Three Drums

Bushey

We were pleased on arrival at the U Tri Bubnu. The hotel was warm and cosy and the staff very very pleasant and friendly. Our room was on the top floor, which meant a tiring climb but was fun all the same and only to be expected considering the building is 15th century. Our room was a pleasant surprise - the bed left a little to be desired as it did sag a bit in the middle but we\'re not the sort of people to let a small issue like that ruin our holiday. One thing that did annoy us though was whoever was staying in the room below us banging on their ceiling every time we walked across the floor. The building is old and charming and wasnt built as a hotel originally and does not feature noise insulation. Once you accept this you have to be a bit more tolerant of your fellow room guests - something they obviously wernt. The breakfast is continental style and is exactly as you would expect anywhere in Europe - the bread is NOT stale. Alltogether we wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hotel but dont stay here if you dont like stairs, room noise from other guests or continental breakfasts.

Washington DC, District of Columbia

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful little hotel for four nights during Christmas (Dec. 21-26). It\'s a quaint 3-star hotel just around the corner from Prague\'s Old Square. There is also a delicious but overpriced Brazillian restaurant on the hotel premises. The rooms themselves are rather sparse, but includes a comfy bed, modern bathrooms (we had a shower, no bathtub) and a TV which we rarely used. The coolest feature was the beautiful exposed wood beam ceiling. The penthouse rooms, spread over two floors, are great for families or large groups traveling together.

I think the persons below who gave the hotel poor reviews were judging it against 4 and 5 star hotels. And the 3% penalty for using credit cards is clearly displayed on the hotel\'s website and lobby. You should pay in cash to get the best deal. This is a THREE star hotel. If you are looking for little shampoo bottles, room service, a pool and a pillow on your mint, look elsewhere. But if all you need is a clean comfortable hotel in the heart of Prague run by friendly staff, you can\'t beat the Three Drums. Considering the cost and location, you can\'t beat the price.

Buckinghamshire, England

We stayed here for 4 nights in December. The room was huge and clean. The Hotel is right in the centre of the Old Town, which meant no taxi/tram/bus fares to pay. Hotel staff were very polite. Continental breakfast was fine. All in all, a very romantic break (especially the beautiful beamed ceilings) and a Hotel I would definitely use again. We\'re thinking of coming back in March to see what it\'s like without the snow!

Leeds

we have just got back from prague. The hotel was excellent the staff were very friendly and helpfull. We had an attic room which was great although the steps would have been a problem if we had been unfit. The room was spacious comfortable and very clean. Two other couples went with us and there room were just as good. Breakfast although basic was good(continental). You could not get a better location just at the side of Old Town Square and five minutes to both Wenslas Square and the beautiful Charles Bridge. If we ever go back to Prague we will definately stay at the same hotel.

A great bar to go to was the Karavella it was the cheapest we found to drink in. the staff were also friendly, food was cheap and tasty.

London

We have just returned from our trip to Prague. We have stayed in Three Drums Hotel and we can recomend the hotel to everyone. The location could not have been better. Our room had unforgetable charming atmosphere. /We read on the web, that the house was built in 15th century!/.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. I will choose the hotel again, and I will recommend it to anyone traveling to Prague.
