Hotel At the Three Drums

Belfast Northern Ireiland

this is a real gem. So close to old town square you can roll out of bed and hit the famous clock. It was very cold when we were there and the rooms where warm and cosy after a days sightseeing this was very wlcome. Forget the upper rooms if you can\'t climb stairs. The staff were great, the breakfast was adaquate but we will definately go back.

Manchester, UK

Just returned from this hotel in Prague. Our second visit to the city.
Found the hotel through tourist information web site and we are glad we did. The good points are, very central to Old Town square (where the clock tower is)as you come out of the front door your in the square within seconds! Spacious rooms (No.10) and full of character. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Not so good points. There are alot of stairs (no lift) so get a room on the second floor (no rooms on first floor)Also the breakfast is only basic, ie bread for toast, cereal and coffee/juice!
I would go back there and recommend to all who don\'t mind the stairs!! Have a great stay.

Brno

We just returned from our 4 night stay in Prague in this charming hotel. I come from this country (we live in Brno at the moment), but my husband is British. He spends lot\'s of time travelling mostly
around Europe cities for business and I accompany him very often.
In all the travelling we have done in last few years -we haven\'t stayed in such a comfortable and welcoming place. Its location is just perfect. In upcoming Christmas time we really enjoyed the
pre-Christmas atmosphere of the Old Town, especially the markets on the square just around the corner. We had a very nice, not too large, but quiet and cosy room with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was adequate and sufficient in choice compared with other 3-stars or even 4-stars hotels around Europe. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful organizing trips, recommending nice places to eat for reasonable prices and giving good advice to a number of our queries. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague either for business or just for holiday.

Scotland

The U Tri Bubnu (The Three Drums) Hotel could not be more perfectly located, as it sits on one of the corner entrances to Old Town Square. A short journey from the Airport by bus to a Metro Station and thereafter an even shorter Metro journey sees you just a two minute walk from the Hotel.

Our room was located on the first floor and was furnished and decorated to a high standard, with a beautiful wooden beamed ceiling. The room had a separate toilet with wash-hand basin, and the main part of the bathroom offered a bath, with integrated shower, and wash-hand basin. Both the bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The room was located to the rear of the hotel and was therefore very quiet.

A continental breakfast was provided for self-service each day and offered more than enough to kick-start you for the day. A previous comment on this site mentioned \'stale bread\' being on offer; I think this was actually rye bread that was being offered!

Staff were very pleasant and room was tidied each day.

Well worth the money and a return visit.

savannah, ga

Great location, but lousy breakfasts. This is a charming hotel just off the old town square. Other reviews mentioned the noise, etc. but we did not find this to be a problem. The room had a fan so we didn\'t have to open our windows and this kept the noise down. Our room was spacious with a beautiful painted ceiling-veery comfortable. The breakfast room and the food served was the only disappointment. In spite of this, you can\'t beat the location or price and I would stay here again.
