Pullman, Washington We (professors and students) have just returned from our truly memorable trip to Prague. We stayed at U Tri Bubnu (The Three Drums Hotel). It was highly recommended to us by our colleagues who are their regular guests.
The Three Drum Hotel is a small hotel of less than 20 rooms, remodeled from an old building, only one block away from the Old Town Square. The location is the most ideal for walking to most tourist attractions. The hotel also operates a lower-cost apartment next door for daily or weekly stay.
The rooms are comfortable and clean. Some are more quiet than others (those above the restuarant and bar can be noisy on Friday and Saturday nights).
The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good--cereals, sausages, ham, cheese, assorted breads, fruits, coffee, tea, and orange juice.
We hope you enjoy staying at U Tri Bubnu and like visiting Prague as we did.

London We had high expectations on our arrival, going by previous reviews. I must say we were not dissapointed. A lovely hotel and in the best possible location. Staff were attentive, rooms were clean and the food is good. Although it is just your basic continental breakfast. We were in attic room 17 which is great if your on a romantic break. The only critiscism was the strong smell of cooking that drifts up from the floorboards for some unknown reason. We quickly got used to it though!
The stairs will be a major problem for the elderly, and anybody who\'s more than a little unfit. You do a lot of walking in Prague, so be prepared. A tip for you! if you go to Prague castle. The large cathedral in the centre allows you to go to the top of the tower, the views are amazing. The only problem is the 282 step spiral staircase to get there. It is as bad as it sounds! If you go to the astronomical clock in the old town square, It\'s only £1.50 to get in and they have a lift all the way to the top! Again the views are amazing. We went up during the day and again at night.
Overall a very good hotel which we would stay at again.

Co. Down This hotel is a real gem in the heart of the old town. Just round the corner from the famous astronomical clock.
We arranged a taxi to collect us from the airport through the hotel and could not believe it when he dropped us off then lifted all our bags and took them to our room. A great service !.
Our bedroom was a large superior double with two large windows and original wooden beamed ceiling. The bathroom was clean and compact. We had no bath only a shower but this was to our request and the shower was very powerful with plenty of hot water.
We loved the free dvd service. A great personal touch, especially for our two year old. Each room had its own dvd player with a list of titles in your room. You simply asked for your dvd at reception at no charge.
You could also hire a laptop for use in your room, but we didn\'t bother. The internet was free to use in reception.
Breakfast was adequate with cereal, juice, tea, coffee, yoghurt, rolls & toast and a selection of cold meats and cheese.
The only drawback was the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room. We are big tea drinkers and like a few cups in the evening when we get the baby to bed. The staff at reception did however make us some tea when I asked. Nothing was too much trouble.
We would definitely stay here again. Please also note that you will receive a discount on your bill if you settle with cash.

Tim & Robin Great location, right on old town square. We were able to walk to the sights we wanted to visit, Charles Bridge, Jewish Quarter, Municipal House. Our room (18) was spacious with beamed ceilings, large seating area and a six foot tub in the bathroom, which is rare and was very welcome after three weeks of travel. Breakfast was good and ready early for the start to our day. We used the car service to and from the airport which was reasonable and reliable. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had and our room was made up daily with great care. When we return to Prague U Tri Bubnu will be our first choice as a place to stay.
