Llandeilo, Wales, U.K. We have just returned from a week-end in Prague and stayed at the U Tri Bubunu. We had a lovely appartment, not just the triple room we had reserved and expected, consisting of a separate spacious and light double room for us parents, a small but modern fully equipped bathroom with underfloor heating and upstairs a very large beamed room with 2 double beds at either end of the considerable under roof space where our teenaged daughter slept and could escape to be on her own. Both rooms had t.v. and our room also had a fridge and bar of soft drinks. It was a lovely warm living space to come back to, not just a cramped hotel room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A basic but adequate breakfast was included and the hotel is just round the corner from the prettiest part of Prague, The Old Town Square. It is very good value for the price and highly recommended. The only thing to take into account is that our rooms were on the third floor and needed stamina to climb the steep stairs as there is no lift. Look on the bright side, a daily work out into the bargain, but not for the infirm or unfit.
An opinion from Wales.

nottingham uk Location excellent, right on the edge of Old Town Square. Staff friendly and very helpful. Small old hotel with plenty of character. Surprised how quiet and pleasant room was considering location to Square.
I agree with others breakfast wasn\'t brilliant but similar to many hotels on the continent. One thing to be aware of, there is no lift and, although the attic rooms are lovely, its a long way up if you have any infirmity.

Elaine Cross This hotel was recommended in \'The Independent Newspaper\' Supplement so we thought we would try it. The best three things about it were the fantastic location by the Old Town Square, the friendly staff and the very comfortable beds. We had a huge attic room which was extremely quiet but poorly lit. Breakfast was dire but meals in Prague are so cheap it was not a great problem.
We did not find Czech people very friendly so we came to appreciate the affable hotel staff.
I must agree with another guest that the stairs were hard to negotiate carrying a heavy suitcase and there are no porters.

Thank you Ivona for arranging our trips ( Karlstejn Castle, Terezin ) and airport transfers.
We definitely will recommend you to our friends.
All the best,
Alan & Mary Ann
