Austin, Texas I stayed at the Hotel Antik in Prague with my group in November and it is certainly a gem and a value. The building dates back to the 15th century and was originally a large gothic style home. There is no elevator but the sprial staircase to access the upper floors is charming. The rooms are of different shapes and sizes with the attic room the most charming with the exposed beams. Cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional! The breakfast area is a shared experience with the antique store on the 1st floor which certainly adds to the quaintness of the place. The location is literally a 5-minute walk to the square which makes it very convenient. The only drawback was the occasional lapse in water pressure, but the hotel staff said it was because all 12 rooms were being occupied by the same group who were taking showers at the same time. I will definitely consider staying here again the next time I am in Prague.
