We stayed at Pension Onyx almost 2 years ago, but I noticed there was only one review and so wanted to add mine as I failed to do so after our trip. What a lovely place to stay! The pension is so new, beautifully decorated and the breakfast was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and cozy and the breakfast room was beautiful. Peter even made us fried eggs each morning! There has been much attention to detail in this lodging.
I suppose a cab would get you home quickly, but my husband and I enjoyed the walk back each evening from the old town. I can\'t wait to return with other family members to show them this lovely town and lovely Pension Onyx.

My Partner and I stayed 2 nights at Penzion Onyx last Summer (June 06) and we really enjoyed our time there.
It is a small family run pension just outside the historic centre.
Therefore it is nice and quiet at night.
The owners Peter (from England) and his Czech wife are doing a great job in running the place. Peter was very helpful with giving us tips on things to do in Cesky Krumlov. He also gave us good advise on which restaurants to go to and pointed out the once that we should rather stay away from.
The rooms are basic but have got there own en-suite and satellite television. The rooms are lovely done, clean and we felt very safe the whole time I was there.
We paid 1900 CSK per night per room and that included a quite extensive breakfast. (Which was served by Peter and his wife)
There is also free parking on the property.
So we found it quite good value for money!
We would stay there again.
