London This is a business class hotel close to Brno Exhibition Centre.
They really do not have time for tourists and display a rather cavalier attitude to them. On my recent three-night stay I found that they had private functions booked for two nights. This resulted in the hotel closing most facilities to ordinary (paying) guests.
They did not seem to understand that paying for a four-star hotel, one expects access to the advertised services such as bars and restaurants, and that direction to their three-star neighbour was not a substitute, particularly in sub-zero weather.

Cheltenham, England he hotel is right beside the exhibtion centre in Brno (one of the largest in eastern europe). Therefore ideal if you\'re attending an exhibtion, but no so good for a tourist wanting to wander around the centre of Brno old town (which is very nice).
The hotel is a 480 - 500 Cz. krona taxi ride from Brno airport (served by Ryanair from London (Stansted)).
The hotel is reasonably modern. The rooms & public areas look like they\'ve been refurbished in the last few years. Certainly the bathroom & bedroom decor is fine & up to the latest standards.
Dinner was okay, but nothing special. Service was fast & smooth but the dining room lacks character. Good choice at buffet breakfast although not enough tables to go round for all the guests, so I had to share.
There is nothing wrong with this hotel but if I were sight-seeing I would try to find somewhere within walking distance of the old town.
For the exhibition ground you couldn\'t really be much closer (maximum five minutes walk to the main entrance).

London Just returned from Brno and would recommend it for a short break. The Hotel was very good & the Whisky Club Bar was a welcome visit before bed. As like all East European customer service it can be a little hit and miss sometimes, but generally we found it pretty good. Prague is 2 hours away by coach & tickets are easily available at the bus station. My advice is to book in advance so you are guaranteed to travel when you want. Generally we found Brno a lot cheaper than Prague and certainely less crowded. Brno has it\'s own charm & there is plenty to do & see. If it would interest you, why not take a trip out to the Moravian countryside. Take a short train ride & visit the caves, some of the oldest & best in Europe. As a couple we had a really great time, inexpensive & interesting.

Glasgow, Scotland The Hotel Voronez in Brno, Czech Repbulic was a very pleasant stay. Not a very attractive building from the exterior, but the rooms were very well decorated, with nice furnishings, facilities and bathroom. Competitively priced (I payed GBP114 for 3 nights) through ryanairhotels. The inclusive continental breakfast tasted good and gave lots of choice. The only disadvantage is the distance from the city centre, although only 2km. However, it was only 5 minutes walk to Tram Line 1, then only 10 minutes on the tram to the main Railway Station.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would stay there again.
