This was my first trip to Prague and we booked the flight and hotel through easyjet at a bargain price.
We were really pleased when we got to the hotel. The staff were really friendly and we were able to check in early. We were even more delighted when we were upgraded to the suite at the top of the hotel which had a lovely balcony and separate bedrooms, and a kitchen/dining area.
The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the old town which we were happy to do, but this might not suit everybody. I think there were public transport options if you are feeling a bit less energetic.
We didn\'t spend much time in the hotel as theres so much to do in the city, but the bar was good, breakfast was great and everything was nice and clean and tidy.

Ireland
I stayed with friends for a fortith birthday. The staff were excellent and one of the Porters actually went out of his way to go and find a birthday cake suitable for the occasion. The staff made the experience a truely memorable event. The hotel accomodation was excellent, great room facilities and the room were spotless. Would highly reccomend it to others.

Australia
This hotel was a great place to stay. First of all, the rooms are huge and even come with lobbies. The bathrooms are also big, and very clean. The staff are honest and extremely capable and are very helpful even if you don\'t speak the language. They have a currency exchange in the foyer, and sell tickets for the underground too. The breakfast is not as good as hotels in western Europe, but they are sufficient to keep you full for most of the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Milton Keynes
Just returned from a three night stay in this hotel and found the hotel clean, tidy and friendly. Reception staff very helpful and attentive. The bar and restaurant a little on the small side but we did not eat there so cannot comment on the food quality. The room although decorated in an antique style was warm, spacious and with a more than adequate bathroom. The hotel location is a two minute walk from the Florenc metro station and from there the main centre of Prague is one stop away. It costs approx 50 pence to reach this stop with a 24HR ticket for anywhere within the city costing approximately £3.00 (100 Czech).
Hotel provide taxi service to the airport (610 CZECH). Check in at 2pm with checkout at 11am. Breakfast served in an attic style room where cereal, bread, cakes and eggs etc can be self served. Breakfast included in the room price. Would return to the same hotel if we returned to Prague.

i am always amazed by reviews on this site and other sites and the negative postings by people, i guess they live in the hilton all their lives.
stayed in the Hotel Mucha 13 to 16 feb 2008 and found it very clean and comfortable.
we stayed in room 23 on the second floor-a huge room with a large bathroom-really clean and warm-if anything too warm but then thats a matter of choice.
breakfast was very good-selection of cold meats-cheese-cereals-juice-eggs frankfurter sausages-breads etc- really good choice.
yes the hotel is not in the middle of Prague but it is just 2 stations on the metro away and 5 minutes on the tram into the centre.
the metro is 100 yards away as are the trams and they run until late.
sure parts of prague are a bit run down-what do you expect after 40 years of occupation-but it is getting there- food in restaurants was really good and service while not delivered with a smile all the time was good. hotel staff were helpful and friendly. reccomended hotel...The Redlad, IRELAND
