Prague, Czech Republic Hotels and Apartments

I thought I\'d be the first to write a review for the Mucha - it would have really helped us to know some of the following before our visit last weekend! Firstly, how to get there. The guidebooks and maps we had (Lonely Planet) were a bit misleading - it\'s a really easy place to find if you know what to do. Your options are either to get a taxi (approx £15 - 650 Czech Crowns) or to get the bus and tube like we did (a mere 30p per person - 12 Crowns!) You need to take the no 100 bus from outside the main airport terminal - stay on it until you get told to get off at the bus station (the announcements are a bit confusing and we nearly got off in the middle of nowhere by accident!) The tube terminal is right by the bus stop - take the yellow line tube until Florenc station (Line B) - this costs another 12 crowns per person. From the main exit of Florenc station turn right and the Mucha is approx 100m down the road. About the hotel - it\'s in a good location in a quietish street, only 15 mins walk from the centre of Prague although a small part of the walk is through a mildly dodgy area. We never felt unsafe although you do feel to stand out as a tourist. Our room was lovely, we got a deluxe room although we hadn\'t paid for this - really big with gorgeous antique furniture. Bathroom was lovely and clean with a good shower. The only downside to the hotel was breakfast - not the greatest in selection or quality. I would definitely stay at this hotel again though -and highly recommend Prague at Xmas - it\'s stunning. Please feel free to mail me if you have any questions..
