delta, bc, canada The Good:
-the hotel is conveniently located even though it\'s at the edge of the city and in a residential area. It\'s less than 5 mins walk to the Depot where you can catch the Metro, trams and buses (including #119 that runs to and from the airport). It\'s no more than 10-15 mins subway ride to the centre of the city. A leisurely walk to the Prague castle takes less than 15 mins. A supermarket is right around the corner. We checked in on a Saturday afternoon and the receptionist (a part-time student who works on weekends) was very friendly and helpful. She even recommended this great restaurant (Zlaty Rozen) to us. Try the roasted pork knee over beer! The buffet breakfast at the hotel was excellent.
The Bad:
-The galss cover of the ceiling light exploded the second night we were there. Fortunately the pieces fell on the bottom half of the bed. TV remote never worked. The wall holder that keeps the shower head upright was not in working order. The shower curtain was barely touching the bath tub and the entire bathroom floor was flooded after a shower.
The Ugly:
-The two chairs in room# 106 were so dirty with stains all over. The wall against the TV stand near the corner certainly could use some repairs.

John The best thing about the Hotel is the location. Just get the 119 bus from the Airport, and it is a 5 minute walk from the final stop. A pleasant area, handy for both Metro and Tram, and a late-night supermarket just around the corner. We paid £47 a night as it was peak time, which was good value. Room was OK, a bit too orange (David Dickinson would be well camouflaged!), but had tea/ coffee facilities and was comfortable. On the minus side, rooms are not that well sound-proofed, and breakfast was little more than adequate - But lets remember, we are talking about a Budget Hotel.
Standard of cleanliness was good, staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it was an excellent choice and good value.

Suffolk This was our first stay in Prague. The hotel was basic but very clean and the receptionists very helpful. Rooms were very spacious. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return to Prage and The Denisa later in the year.

MISSOURI WE had a very nice stay here. It\'s not downtown-but very close to metro and bus to airport. It was quiet and comfortable. The heat of the water was a little unpredictable, but our room was nice. The other quests and staff were all very nice. Would recomend this hotel at the price we got to a friend.

England In January 2006 we spent 4 nights at the Denisa Hotel and have nothing but praise for it and the staff. It is located 5 minutes walk from the Metro Station and about 15 minutes walk to the castle. The rooms are large and very clean with tea/coffeee facilities along with a fridge. The shower wasn\'t the best but you can always have a bath. There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the area but ask at reception and they will send you in the right direction. It is better to eat and drink in the area of the hotel as it is very expensive in the city centre. we were paying about £25 for the 4 of us to eat and drink, very cheap. we never felt threatened but there are plenty of shady characters hanging around in groups in the centre so watch your wallet and bags, because they are!!!! There are plenty of shuttles from the airport and it is worth buying a travel pass for the brilliant transport systems.
