Prague, Czech Republic Hotels and Apartments

I stayed at the Leonardo with my mother from 31st August to 2nd September. Only 2 nights. The hotel was acceptable and the rooms were comfortable, although we asked to change rooms after the first night as we had been given a room at the front of the hotel, which was lovely but extremely noisy as the road is cobbled. Once we\'d moved to the middle of the hotel, it was extremely quiet.

I found the staff helpful and polite and the location was ideal for seeing all the sights.

It did say that tea/coffee facilities were provided in the rooms, but we didn\'t have any. I asked at the desk and we were given a kettle and some coffee, the rest I secreted at breakfast.

We weren\'t provided with bathrobes/slippers as the previous review and I didn\'t know that the hotel had river view rooms as it didn\'t appear to be positioned on the main road.

The hotel was average and pleasant but wouldn\'t stay there again.

Stayed in room 404 on top floor.

One window in room in centre of ceiling which was about 9 feet from the floor situated right above the bed. Not a problem at night, but as soon as it became light at about 5am, you got the sun shining in your face! Closing the blinds was awkward for me at 6 foot tall even with the long pole provided, so I wonder how a shorter guest would manage. I\'d advise avoiding this room if you can.

Breakfasts were excellent, with a wide selection available every day. Staff were also friendly and courteous.
