Atlanta, GA I took my first trip to Prague in May, and we stayed at the Leonardo after reading several reviews on Trip Advisor. The hotel gets high marks for location. It\'s about 3 blocks from the Charles Bridge, which makes it centrally located, and it\'s also on a quiet side street which for us is a plus. Even after the city of Prague went crazy when the Czech Republic beat Canada for the world hockey championships, it was still quiet enough on the street to get some sleep. The hotel itself was ok. The room was a 2 story loft, with a quite steep staircase to get to the beds and a very strange decor of exposed wooden beams jutting out of the walls and ceilings from all directions. (It was quite easy to run square into one of these things if you did not pay enough attention.) The staff was pleasant but not particularly knowledgeable or helpful about the city. They could not provide us even basic information about how to get to a train station to take a day trip outside of Prague. One plus of the hotel was that it had a good morning breakfast (included in the price). But I think we\'d probably stay somewhere else the next time we go to Prague (which I hope is soon, because the city is terrific).

London Great Location. Our room looked out across the river with views of Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. Huge room. Nice size bathroom. Staff were very accomodating. Good continental and English breakfast. Good value for money. Looking forward to going back soon.

Singapore So-so, not to say less... Noisy street, three star compared with the EC standard, nothing special though obviously spammed via Tripadvisor. Better tips are Golden Wheel (in Hradcany), Elite, or in a lower category of price U Medviku (close to Tesco). Beware of the pickpockets in the tourist areas (Metro, tram, Old City, dpt stores...). Good restaurants in Prague: La Scene, U Modre Ruze, Arzenal (quite expensive); U Medviku, Chez Marcel (mid-range prices).
