Vancouver, Canada My sister and I spent two nights, the hotel is clean, the staff were efficient and friendly and the room was above average, large and spotless as was the bathroom. We were at the back so street noise was not a problem. Breakfast was included in the price and was very basic but filling. I would recommend this hotel, it is within easy walking distance of all the main attractions.

Consett Lets start with the good stuff, the hotel room was clean and the room is cleaned every day while you are out but thats it.
Bad Stuff: The hotel room although clean, had major problems. The mattress was so hard it was like sleeping on stone, the shower was so small it was hard to move around and there was never any hot water plus it always leaked so we had to keep a towel on the floor. It had no tea/coffee facilities so i would recommend going to the shop which is about 5 mins walk on the opposite side of the road, it is open 24 hours. The breakfast was awful, hard rolls, awful water, awful slop. We didn\'t bother going down after the first morning. Both receptionists we saw were very rude in general and unhelpful when asking for information.
I feel like this hotel was over priced and i do feel staying there put a downer on my holiday.
Another points: This hotel isnt 10 minutes walk to the main areas as most people have said, it is at least 20 minutes walk to Wencesles square, Prague is very poorly signed so i would recommend going into the hotels to ask for directions as no one else speaks english.
The metro is 5 minutes walk away, however again nothing is in English so you need to try to ask someone directions or try and guess the right train(which i wouldn\'t recommend).
If you are going to a restaurant and u need to split the bill, make sure you order separately as its hard work explaining that you are paying for your food only. Every restaurant we went too all the waitresses were very rude so be prepared for this.
Prague is expensive so take plenty of cash with you.
AIRPORT:
If your going to order a taxi, order AAA however they are not completely honest, when we got the taxi from the airport i felt the driver was dragging the journey along and slowing down so he could stop at traffic lights to make the bill higher. On the way back we got a metro to Wenceslas square, then 2 train on green line and then a 119 bus to the airport.
OVERALL: Prague is a beautiful place but i wouldn\'t recommend this hotel, if i had to do it again i would have booked one more central to the city with better facilities. I definitely couldn\'t recommend this hotel.

Madison, Wisconsin We had booked a hostel to stay in (because we didnt know what a hostel was) and we were freaked out and we moved over to this place. this was a welcome relief. the place was clean, modern, well renovated. the breakfast was adequate. the maid service was superbe. i didnt leave the hotel room till 2 pm most days. and they figured this out, and didnt attempt to do housekeeping until 2, and even if i stayed till 3, i just found the maid, pointed at the \"make up the room\"sign and she said \"5 minutes\". very good service. the toilet sure did clog easily though. but they fixed it everyday lol. the room was small i will say. very tiny for 2 people. the beds were right next to each other. they separated them about 1 foot apart. still my father and i were way too close for comfort. so i separated the beds more by pushinghis over to the window and mine over to the cabinet. I totally recommend htis hotel. its in a great location (10 minute walk from wenceslas square, 25 minute walk (if you walk fast) from old town square. great way to see prague.

Suffolk This hotel is within easy walking distance of Wenceslas Square and about 20 mins walk from Old Town Square. I am over my prime and found the walk well within my limited abilities!
The rooms were ensuite, clean, quiet ( Friday night was the exception to the rule.) BUt then it was just people coming in late.
It was cheap. Breakfasts were very good for the price we paid. We had daily maid service and would certainly use it again.

Yorkshire, England The hotel was clean and tidy, pretty basic, but the main problem is its location it is a good 60 mins walk into the busy areas, there is a metro and trams, but as the locals very friendly did not risk it.
