On my two visits to Prague I have stayed at this hotel and can only say that it is a lovely hotel in a perfect location. The restaurant is also brilliant serving excellent food at a very reasonable price. Staff are friendly and helpful too

Belfast - Northern Ireland
We stayed in U Karlova mostu (hotel at the Charles Bridge). We had a lovely view of the Charles Bridge and the river. It was excellent, 15 seconds from the Charles Bridge. Close to Prague Castle, Old Town Square, many other tourist sites and shopping.
Prague is a bueatiful city and my wife and I will definately go back. We found the locals to be helpful and friendly. We also did some of the walking / boat tours and would highly recommend them. Some of the boats leave from the rear of the hotel. In all a cracking trip.

Leeds
We love Prague, it was love at first sight, this hotel was our 4th visit to wonderful Prague. So what did we think of it? We had a beautiful room wih a fabulous view of the stunning Charles Bridge, traditionally in Prague our double was two singles pushed together, but not really an issue for us. Our only criticisms of the room was that our en-suite was tiny, shower only no bath, and we only had one mirror in only in the bath room (sounds picky but I\'m looking for a hotel for my wedding guests to stay at!). BUT don\'t forget what a view, the staff were friendly and helpful and its so convenient for almost everywhere in Prague.
Breakfast was traditional continental, not the best I\'ve had but not the worst.
In summary I loved it here, and would return but not sure its suitable for my wedding guests! Especially cos there\'s no lift! Some of the steps could prove tricky on return from a traditional Prague night out!

This hotel is in the perfect spot. Close to the bridge on the river, on a very nice street. There is a big park next door where people walk their dogs. Close to everything, but not noisey. Perfect!
Stayed here in November of 2003 for 4 nights. Considered the off-season, but we loved it.
We had a suite right above the lobby area facing the street.
A room/ suite facing the river would definitely be nicer, but we really liked our room. the street is very quiet and cute. The suite had 2 rooms and a very clean and new bathroom.
Breakfast was slim, but we enjoyed it every day and the pub/ restaurant was great. The staff were very nice and went out of their way to help us.
The only negative thing about our stay was the bed. It was 2 twins pushed together. One mattress would be better. They were comfortable, but still...
Prague is absolutely awesome! and our stay at the hotel helped make it a great experience. I would return.

Brussels, Belgium
A wonderful hotel. The location is just great, you cannot be closer to the Charles Bridge (on Kampa island, off the bridge), and yet, this is a very quiet location (although we were there in July). Many people just go on over the bridge and never come down to the island. The room was very charming, with a nice view on the Kampa square and on the bridge.
