London, England We stayed for two nights at the Grand Hotel on our second visit to Prague. We had lovely views of Old Town Square and the Christmas Market . Our room (215) was directly opposite the clock and we weren\'t disturbed at all (very efficient double glazing). Great cakes in the coffee shop!

bloomfield hills, MI My Mother and I just arrived home from a fantastic five day vacation in Prague, where we thoroughly enjoyed our accomodations at the Grand Hotel Prague. The staff was very helpful, the breakfast offerings were varied and delicious, the room was large and spotless, and the location was perfect for us to explore most areas by foot. The availability of free internet was also a pleasant surprise. We had considered staying at many different hotels in various areas of town and at various price levels. In retrospect, we made an excellent hotel choice and would highly recommend the Grand Hotel Prague on the old Town Square.

San Antonio, Texas We spent 7 nights at this wonderful small hotel right on Old Town Square. (22 rooms with elevator) In fact our room looked out directly on to the Clock at the Town Hall. Rooms are furnished with antiques; baths are modern and well equipt; great breakfast included each morning. The staff was so very helpful and tried their best to be of service at every opportunity. This was a very confortable stay and I would highly recommend this establishment. It is relatively new and I am sure it will be much in demand in the months to come.

Liverpool, England My wife and I returned yesterday ( 29th August 2005 ) after a great weekend in Prague. We stayed at the Grand Hotel Praha in the Old Town with a view opposite the Astronomical Clock. The hotel room was excellent having been recently modernised. The staff were all extremely helpful and we would happily stay at the hotel again. The breakfast included in the price was exceptional and set us up for the day. The view of the Astronomical Clock and resultant crowds on the hour provided additional entertainment. A cautious note the Clock strikes on the hour. ( 24 Hours a day ). Whilst this did not bother me my wife found it kept her awake. Also the cake shop on the ground floor whilst it served delicious cakes it was the most expensive coffee we had in Prague. £3 a cup. All in all though we would highly recommend the hotel for other visitors to Prague.
