This is a fantastic Hotel not far from the Old Town Square or any of the other highlights of Prague without the noise and drunks of other parts of town.
The Hotel staff cannot do enough to help without being over the top. The bedrooms are spacious and clean, ours had a lovely deep bath with a fantastic massive shower. They offer a fully stocked honesty bar with top brand liquers, whiskey brandy etc, as well as teas, coffee and pastries. The choice at the buffet breakfast is enourmous and sets you up for the day.
Overall I would say that this is a fantastic hotel in a superb location with wonderful staff!

We stayed at the Maximilian for our first wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. Everything lived up to our expectations. We got a taxi from the airport which is a set fare of 650 crowns (approx £16). The hotel transport turned out to be 790 crowns (approx £19) so we booked that for the return journey. The taxi was absolutely fine as well though.
We also stayed in room 216 (see other reviewer\'s photos) and it was class. Although freezing it was so good to have a balcony. The service was great and the breakfast fantastic.
The hotel doesn\'t have a restaurant but recommends a variety of different ones nearby. We tried Lary Fary\'s which is about 5 mins walk and was absolutely amazing and very reasonable.
The best thing about the hotel is definitely the location - walking distance to all of the sights.
Prague is a great city and I can\'t wait for my return!

Having read all the reviews we decided to book the Maximilian and were very happy indeed. Shopped around and got a 3 nights for price of 2 with Hotel Connect. The hotel has an excellent location, great staff and good rooms. We went with another couple and had a birthday over the weekend and a complimentary bottle of champagne arrived which was a lovely touch. If you are looking for an eclectic dining experience try Alchymist which was amazing for both the food and decoration!

The wife and I stayed there for a week over New Years. We found an incredible rate there, especially considering the holiday. This hotel is in an outstanding location, on a quiet street within walking distance to everything. The staff are helpful. Free internet, and they\'ll even lend you an ethernet cable and an outlet adaptor if you forgot them at home. Breakfasts were outstanding as well. Our room was a little on the small side, but fully functional. Would stay there again.

My wife and I have just returned from Prague where we went for the week between Christrmas and the New Year. We chose the hotel as a result of your reviews and I have to say it was spot on with an excellent rating. The breakfast bar would not disgrace any 1st class hotel in the U.K. and the room was spotless. Clean linen every night on your pillow and very helpful and cheeful staff. Prague is a terrific place to visit and this hotel is in a very quiet part of the city just 5 mins from the Old Town Square. Just the place if you are a light sleeper. Bonus of not having unruly kids charging about.
