Beverly I\'ve been to various countries in Europe over 20 times, and this is, hands down, my favorite hotel. The location is excellent, a very quiet square off Old Town Square. Very convenient to run back to the hotel to drop off shopping, pick up forgotten items, etc. It is warmly furnished and very welcoming. The breakfast is very robust, the best I\'ve had in Europe and enough to last you until dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are immaculate and it is one of the only times that hotel noise has NOT woken me during the night. There is free internet access in a lounge where coffee and snacks are served all day (bring your log-on information for your home account, so many people thought they were able to use the hotel\'s account, which is incorrect) I can\'t say enough about the Maximillian. My only complaint is the bed only had a duvet (no sheet/blanket) which is standard but too warm for October. Otherwise, I\'d go back to Prague and the Maximillian in a minute!

Geordy Just spent 3 nites at this hotel after 7 nites in Paris. Took the Cedex mini van service from the airport, a great deal! Was thrilled with the hotel, the room was large, the bathroom fabulous)large tub with shower, arrractive furnishings, and cloud-like bedding! This would have been triple the price in Paris! As the other reviews report, great location (\"a short walk to the old town square\" is really true!, friendly staff, great breakfast\'\'\'GO!

Felix & Maddie We have just returned from a fabulous 3 night break at the Maximilian. The location is perfect, in a quiet street (opposite a church - with no bells!) and a 5 minute stroll to the Old Town Square. Really close to loads of great restaurants and Dahab, a Moroccan style tea house/bar. Tretters (super swanky cocktails) is also a 2 minute stumble back!
Breakfast was HUGE, with a good selection. The room was clean and comfortable.
We had been recommended the hotel by friends and will be going on to recommend it to anyone else planning a trip to Prague.

Brian Stayed here for two nights and found the hotel excellent. Staff very friendly and efficient and the breakfast lived up to the other reviews posted here.
One I would recommend to anyone thinking of travelling to Prague

Philadelphia I stayed at this hotel for 3 days in mid-August and was delighted with its amenities and cleanliness. But best of all was its location on a quiet side street just minutes from Prague\'s bustling Old Town Square. I would highly recommend this property.
