Four of us have just come back from staying at the Maximilian for 3 nights and it was surely one of the best hotels I have stayed in for a long time. Our rooms were very large, bright, clean and comfortable and the beds were sensational - very big, crisp white cotton sheets.
Breakfast buffet was enormous and varied. Staff very friendly, helpful and very swift. We were all sad to leave and would stay there again any time. The quiet and uncommercialised area were an added bonus. Very good value for money. A real gem.

Have stayed here twice. Great location - couldn\'t be much better in fact. Clean, large rooms, good breakfast. Personally wouldn\'t stay anywhere else. I didn\'t interface with the staff myself, but I didn\'t have any need to.....
