Edinburgh, UK The hotel itself is average. Small room, clean enough, facilities average too. The staff however were surly and extremely unhelpful and uncaring when our room was broken into and several small items taken - WHILE WE WERE ASLEEP! We were not the only guests affected but the hotel offered no apology at all, let alone any help getting to the airport as out remaining money was also taken. We had to rely on the kindness of another guest who paid for our transport there. It may not have been the hotels fault that our room was broken into but their complete and total lack of symapthy or help was astonishing!

Scotland Have no idea why this hotel was rated 4* apart from its location. Booked via internet and disappointed from the very start. Airport pickup was arranged via hotel and driver was in a terrible hurryand driving like a maniac - tooting and gesturing at other vehicles, urgently trying to get ahead - not a nice welcome to the city. On arrival, the receptionist Romana was very abrupt and dismissive of us. Entered the room and was horrifed at the size (extremely small) and it was also a room adapted for disabled people. Asked to be moved to a bigger room and none was available but said she would let us know next morning (still waiting!!!). Tried to borrow an iron and had a terrible time with Manager who eventually arranged for the chamber maid to iron 3 pieces for me free of charge!! Breakfast is nothing to write home about and staff were very surly. There was a fly in the very much watered down orange juice and when I asked them to change it, they decided instead to remove the fly with a ladle!!
Again, used the airport transfer when leaving and the driver didn't even bother to drop us at the main entrance of the airport or even close to departures - other side of the road was good enough for us because he had to be back at the hotel in 20 minutes!
Overall gutted at this hotel and the various problems encountered. I will definitely revisit Prague but not this hotel for sure!! I am planning to copy this to the Czech Tourist Info Board - the rating should be reconsidered or at least their customer care addressed. I have stayed in better 2 & 3* hotels around the world.

Kent, UK The hotel is in a great location and is very clean. But the staff where terrible, even before the prejudice incident(s). I asked for a larger room and was willing to pay an upgrade fee if nesessary and I was ignored basically. When I inquired the following day about the availability of a larger room, the receptionists began speaking Czech to each other in front of me.....My partner was with me and he speaks Czech. He told me they were speculating on what I was doing with him sexually. Of course very inappropriate to speak about the private lives of two consenting adults.
I told the manager a day after the incident. She tried to assure me she would handle the inappropriate behavior. But she did not ask what time or day the event had occurred or what the people involved looked like that were responsible. She would have no idea who to talk to...in other words, no intention of correcting their behavior. It goes without saying, I will not return.

greece I visited Prague, a month ago with my brother, my mother and a friend of mine. We stayed at Adria Hotel.
The Hotel is in the city center, very close to the main square, to shops and monuments. The metro station is very close and the tram station, too.
It is a very clean place, with a lot of rooms which are very cute and beatiful. The rooms are not very big but they have double or twin beds (quite big), satellite TV, big wardrobe and a wonderful and clean bathroom.
The breakfast is continental type, with varity of food, but they also has some traditional foods and sweets.
It has a small cafe-bar with tables outside and a piano-restaurant with delicious food.
My brother loved the shoe-cleaner which is next the elevator.
The only problem we had was that we lost all the time in the Hotel because it has a lot of rooms, corridor, etc. Only with the elevator you will be sure that you are going to arrive at your destination!!!!!
The price of rooms is good enough. Not very cheap, but not very expensive either. We paid about 200 euros per room per night.

Midlands We arrived for a three night stay and found that the hotel was ideally placed right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Prague. Although the room that we stayed in was quite small, it was clean and the bathroom was spotless.
We found the hotel breakfast to be good with a mixture of hot and cold buffet style available. The staff seemed pretty friendly although we didnt eat in the hotel. The small cafe style lobby bar was good and even drinking in the hotel was cheaper than in the UK. The hotel arranged the aiport transfer on our return at a set agreed price.
Prague itself was lovely. After it had snowed for best part of a full day we were left with about two foot the following day. Still didnt stop us from shopping and visiting the many sights there are to see. All staff in restaurants and the bars where we ate and drank we found to be friendly and the service was good.
Would recommend the Adria for its location and would stay there again if we ever come back to Prague.
