Heidelberg, Germany We stayed only for one night but really enjoyed this place. Very trendy in terms of design but comfortable and not your typical over-designed type hotel. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. I won't go into details as everyone else already has. The location is fine being a little outside of town. It is so easy to get around for public transport and it's practically free. 14 Czech Crowns for a one way Metro ticket...I don't think this is even Euro .50. Surrounding area is also nice and you have a huge mall a couple steps away as well as cinemas, etc. But, if you go to Prague I hope you're not hanging out in the mall or movie theater. Go to town.
We went to a great Restaurant in the Mala Strana area called Cowboys. It belongs to the Kampa Group which practically owns the gastronomie scene in Prague and slowly in Bratislava. Ask for a table outside up on the terrace.....spectacular view of the city so don't be put off by the cheesy name. Reasonable priced too and the best steaks in town.

Hong Kong (Plus side) We ordered hotel pickup, even our flight was delayed for 30mins the driver was waiting for us outsideI
(Plus side) Rooms were spacious and clean, nicely decorated
(Down side) Maybe because we're late, the driver drove like Schumacher!
(Down side) booked 2 studio rooms with the hotel and on arrival, the studios were full, was we just got an ordinary room...it was disappointing, althought the rooms were ok
(Average) Breakfast was ok.....the waitress was a bit slow in clearing the tables
(Average) Dinner- Only one restaurant in hotel, service was great, but not much food to choose from

ravenmoon27@hotmail.com, blackpool For my first time abroad this was pretty amazing. when we booked with expedia we upgraded and payed an extra £15 a night for a club service or something. At the time it seemed like a little fun extra, but on arrival at the hotel they'd upgraded us to a suite room free of charge, which was like a small flat. it was on the top floor and on the side of the hotel, so we had fab views all around. we had a little sitting room and dinning table separate from the bath room and bedroom. i really can't rate this enough. and it was lovely to come back to after the snow and cold. in the morning part of our package had been breakfast in our room, and we discovered a trolley with fruit, cerals, danish pasteries, hot choclate, tea etc. again, amazing. the staff were very helpfull, checking train times to kutna hora for us.
We had transfers to and from the airport, and we were amazed that they were there waiting even though our plane was delayed. some people say it's too expensive, and for the price of the public transport it might be, but our driver was friendly, and the car comfortable, and i think well worth the money.
It is a little out of the city centre, but the metro station is just round the corner (turn right not left the the top of the road, the staff were grinning after we walked around the hotel for 10 mins in the freezing cold snow) and the italian above the metro station (up the metal steps) was lovely also, one of the best meals we had in Prague. Another thing to rate was the underfloor heating in the bathroom, snow = very cold feet haha, and the heating made all the difference. also we had lots of storage space and 2 tvs and dvd players, with free dvd rental from the reception, there were quite a few good films to choose from.
The cocktail list in the bar was good, if not a little expensive, but worth it as the strawberry martini and peppermint grasshopper were divine. the only complaints were that the bar staff seemed to take ageeeeeeees to make them, literally about 10 mins at the quickest, and at breakfast the hot water was cold, although it had traveled a fair way.
all in all a brilliant place, and i intend to stay here again. and i'd recomend it to anyone.

Yorkshire England Stayed at the Andel 3 nights over the last w/e in May. We booked online and paid about £80per night (Shop around!). We added that it was our wedding aniversary and requested a quite room. On checking in (11am no problem) we discovered they had upgraded us to a suite / huge bed / sofa/ table /kitchen area / huge plasma screen tv **WOW**. Staff would do anything to help, I cant praise them highly enough.
The location is perfect - Metro 100yds away. Make sure you exit at correct end of station to avoid a 400yd walk. If you exit the station and it looks like a inner city slum, turn around and go to the other end of the platform where you will appear on the edge of a shopping centre.
Hotel super modern / clean / quite / breakfast great (self service like a Raddison) 7.30-10.30. All rooms have DVD players you can get DVD's from reception 250CK £6 per night.
Trip from airport to hotel very easy. Buy a 3 or 4 day travel card 280CK (£7) from the Transport desk which allows you to use all metros/trams/buses. Out side exit F get on the 100 bus (no need to show ticket but you will need to validate ticket (1st time only) by punching it into machine on the bus. This bus goes to the metro (yellow line) and its then about 20mins to Andel Metro station where the hotel is.
Prauge is a fantastic place , take a comfortable pair of shoes you walk everywhere.

Leeds Do not stay in Andel's!!! We hired limo service to pick us up from the airport, but it never turned up so were left waiting for ages. This was a bad start to the holiday. Then we arrived and although the hotel looked amazing, the staff were not friendly or helpful. It was my boyfriends 21st so as a surprize i asked for candles in the room. They put 1 candle in. This was dissappointing. The rooms were a lot smaller than I expected them to be. However, the bed was so comfortable and the shower was brilliant. DO NOT BUY WATER FROM THE HOTEL!!! we got back 1 night and had a bottle from the bar. They charged it to our room and it was the equivilant of £7.50!!! We stayed here 2 nights and hotel duo 2 nights. Hotel duo cost £35 per night whereas Andel's was £75, Duo was much nicer, friendlier and had so much more to do.
