England Reception was friendly and welcoming. Porter friendly. we were situated on the 4th (top) floor hence didn\'t hear any street noise. The noise cam from one of the lifts which could be very intrusive late at night and early in the morning.
Card access to room was intermittently faulty. Was told card reader needed new batteries however not changed during our stay and the problems continued. We had 4 coat hangers in the wardrobe between us. Called reception who told us hotel was full and couldn\'t obtain any more! Eventually 36 hours later I received 3 of the 6 additional hangers I had requested. Never could obtain any more.
Room has internet/web access however each time I used it I booked 15 minutes (free) onlt to find that access was so slow the time ran out before I could log on to yahoo! Tried 30 minutes....same. Quicker to post a letter than use the room based access.
Hot water took 5 minutes or more to reach tap especially late at night and early morning.....possibly because we were on the top floor.
Breakfast choice limited but adequate. Very limited choice of fruit which consists of fruit cocktail daily.
Had occasion to meet the hotel security guard as a result of the intermittent room access. As cold a chap as you wouldn\'t wish to meet. Wholly unsuited to performing in any role requiring contact with people.....in my opinion.
Location is excellent and is the only reason I would consider it again, although unlikely. 1 minute from Old Town Square and fashion designer shops. Charles Bridge within 4 minutes walk.

Bangor We stayed recently at the Hotel Rott. Excellent hotel. Great position. excellent breakfast and lovely rooms and good value. Beware when using public transport as we were were charged a fine of £12 each for not validating our tram tickets at the ticket machine on the tram and were put off the tram by two unpleasant men . We think this was partly a scam as another two men were having an argument about a seat and we were so busy watching this we forgot about our validating our tickets! No pleading helped about being tourists so beware! Walking tour and boat trip were very good as was a restaurant called Kogo. Make sure you use official taxis from the airport as you can pay too much. Use Cedez taxis. Enjoy your trip.
