Ottima colazione e servizio impeccabile. Ci tornero\' sicuramente.

South Wales Returned from Prague on the 19th January after a 5day trip. We stayed at The Rott Hotel which is situated on the Old Town Square. We arrived late afternoon booking in was quick and painless and we were shown to the room which was on the second floor. We found the room to the clean warm and comfortable plenty of hot water ample wardrobe and draw space. We were all desperate for a drink and went down to the reception to find the bar, unfortunately this was closed but we were directed to the bar next door which is also owned by the Rott Hotel as well as the adjoining building which consists of 5 floors of beautiful jewelery and crystal.
Not knowing the area we decided to stay in this bar and have a meal which was very nice chicken in ginger sauce with veg, and potato croquettes, the stawberries and cream were lush, washed down with chez beer and of course hot mulled wine.
The location of the Rott is ideal for sightseeing, literally round the corner from the old town square, and the asternomical clock, and easy walking distance to the powder gate, Charles Bridge and not forgetting Wenceslas square. Makes a change not to have to get taxis everywhere.
The only downside to the Rott is that after breakfast which again was good and plenty of variety the dining and lounge bar area were closed, this may well have been because it is low season, but in this case the rooms could have benefitted from tea and coffee facilites, which we asked for but it was not available. I am looking forward to going back to Prague at the end of the year for the Christmas Markets and would most certainly stay at the Rott again and recommend it to any one planning a visit.

Luton I stayed at the Rott for my 30th Birthday and could not fault the hotel. The rooms were bright and very spacious (we stayed in Superior room on 3rd Floor). The loaction of the hotel is excellent - leading right into the old town square. We didn\'t once need to get a taxi/tram or train as we were able to walk everywhere which was excellent.
The only downside, was that the one morning we were up in time for breakfast (served 7-10am) we couldn\'t find an empty table in the breakfast room. I would suggest no leaving it until 9.30-10.00 which seems to be when EVERYONE decides to take breakfast!
In summary, an excellent choice. I will definately stay here again when I return to Prague

Surrey Having read the previous & only entry we were somewhat concerned about security, however this was totally unfounded. Use the safe & stay vigilant as you would in any city!
The hotel could not have been in a more perfect location, truly in walking distance to EVERYWHERE.
The hotel & room had a real \"wow\" factor with new decor & furnishings, only slight let down was housekeeping which could have been more thorough. We used the hotel for B&B purposes as wanted to explore & dine out in evenings. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, ample provision for vegetarians too.
Staff -same as everywhere in Prague, happy to help when needed, otherwise will let you get on with your business. Scored brownie points trying to speak some Czech!
Would definitely recommend the hotel & stay again. Try the Italian/pizzeria \'Giovanni\'s\' just across the square down the street called \"Tynska\".
