London On the plus side - the location close to the main square is excellent, the decor with lots of antique objets is pleasing, the bed firm and comfortable, the cleanliness OK and the bathroom modern. BUT, the rooms vary a lot in size and ours, number 5, was extremely noisy throughout the night with music from the neighbouring bar and revellers in the street below; also, if you do not like steep steps you need to avoid the second and third floor. Breakfast OK for the price.

Miami Beach We stayed at the Leonardo Hotel for one night in mid-June. We booked the double room #6 for 2400 CZK ($132.)/night directly from the internet. I chose this room because of the attractive photo presented on their web site.
The Leonardo is located directly in the center of the old town, 40 feet off of the main square. When you leave the hotel you are in the midst of the excitement of Krumlov. But, this means at night the sound of revelers down in the street can be disturbing. We entered into a quaint front room with the stairs leading up to the bedrooms. To the left is the office where we checked-in. The front desk person spoke English well, was friendly and helpful in finding us a good place for lunch.
We were pleasantly surprised by our room. It was of good size and had two large windows which overlooked the streets below. The windows from other buildings could be seen across the street which compromised privacy. We really felt like we were in the middle of all the excitement. The furnishings were elegant and comfortable. The side-by-side twin beds were comfortable and dressed in expensive linens. There was cable TV with English CNN and a small fridge. A computer terminal is also available for free in the check-in room. We found out the next day that there was WIFI in the room but we were not told that at check-in. There is no air-conditioning at the Leonardo but a large fan was found in the room. This was adequate for keeping the room cool on what turned out to be a rather warm day. The large bathroom had a full bathtub with hand held shower. A heated drying rack made the towels warm and dry.
Breakfast is served in a quaint wood paneled room overlooking the mini-square. The buffet consisted of the usual breads, meats, cereals, cheeses, hard-boiled eggs and pastries. Check-out time is quite early at 11 but the front desk person held our bags so we were able to spend more time touring Krumlov.
The bottom line? This is a comfortable hotel in the heart of a fascinating little town. Air-conditioning would have been appreciated on this hot day but the fan turned out to be adequate. The streets below can be noisy but that did not prevent us from sleeping. The front desk closes for lunch and after 6 pm so we did not have access to the computer terminal during the evening, somewhat of an inconvenience. When we walked around the town and looked at the prices of other hotels we realized the Leonardo is relatively expensive for this small town. When all is considered we enjoyed our stay at the Leonardo and hopefully will return.

Atlanta, GA We stayed here for one night during our honeymoon (wish it could have been longer) in May. We had room #2 that overlooks the street. Room was much larger than expected--nice sitting area with table, comfy bed, and a HUGE bathroom. The tub is gigantic, and has a ledge to sit while you \"shower\".
We arrived by train around 9pm, and there was a note telling us to find our keys at the bar next door. No problems there. The place was very quiet, but we were there during the week.
Definitely recommend this place!

Newport Beach, California stayed for a single night and arrived around 9PM. Was a note on the door to go to the bar next door to check in, they handed us a key and we had no troubles. It was not so warm that we needed the windows open.
The town was quite quiet and we were concerned that we could find something still open for dinner. We found a nice place just around the corner. (don\'t remember the name)
Loved Cesky but only had the next morning to explore before heading off again. 1-2 days is enough to take it all in.
Plus+
friendly staff
good internet
adequate bathrooms
charming room
good location-but bar next door and across the street could be a problem in warmer weather

Dalton, Georgia,USA I have chosen many hotels from the recommendations on this website, but I have to say, I seem to have been in a different place than the previous reviewers. The location is wonderful and the room itself was guite adequate, but our room was on the front side about 20 meters from a music bar and until 5 AM there was no sleep. period. The breakfast was fine but the staff was very indifferent and not at all what I would have expected from reading these reviews. This is the first time I have written anything but a glowing review, but felt I must add some balance to these reviews. We were there for 2 nights. The second night was much quieter being Sunday.
