Hotel Ambassador Zlata Husa

California

This hotel is conveniently located close to the \"Old Town\" section of Prague. Our room was a suite with two crystal chandeliers, living room, separate bedroom, and large marble bathroom. However, our room was on the street side where it was very noisy. The area of the hotel has discos, bars, casinos, etc., and lots of college students roaming the streets all hours of the night. Our stay included the breakfast buffet which was good. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. However, due to the noise factor, I would recommend that you stay on the back of the hotel, or at a hotel in another area.

The suites are very good value for money and worth paying the extra for. The hydromassage bath was worth the extra money!

Breakfast fantastic...virtually anything you could wish for (including champagne)

Complimentary glass of champagne on arrival was very welcome!

Drinks at the bar quite pricey...would be the only negative comment...but maybe this maintained its exclusivity

I have just returned from the Ambassador Hotel in Prague for 4 girls friends after a long weekend for a friends birthday.

The hotel was absolutely superb, far better than we expected and the location for us was ideal, central to the shops and nightlife but also not too far from the Old Town to have a wander around in the day time

We had a fab time and found the hotel staff very helpful and friendly despite some reviews we had read beforehand.
They were always very polite to us even when they told us other guests in adjacent rooms had complained about us for noise late a night.

The most negative element would be the hotel in general was full of older people say 55+ rather than like minded 20-30 somethings which figure why some people were not happy with loud corridor/room noise before going out and night and on our return, which i guess is fair game.

The breakfast was good, plenty of choice for hot and cold even with a hangover it managed to sort us out! If i was being picky i suppose a bit of fruit would have been good, though they did serve salad for breakfast which is most odd, my mate Lisa loved it!!!

I would recommend Pragur in general to anyone and definately this hotel for a central location to the buzz and even that aside, once in the rooms you would not be disturbed from the outside noise as all rooms are located at the back.

The Wellness Centre was ok but we couldnt have a swedish massage for four of us so had to have 2 separate massages in pairs and it was a little unnerving being in the rooms alone, shame you couldnt share rooms with mates to natter at the same time!
We all found the massages a little rough, and not too relaxing but maybe that is because they were done properely, tho in general it was a nice experience!

Rooms were fab, bathroom in particular was ace with lush baths which we certainly made good use of!

Go here!

I have just returned from a week in Prague and was most impressed with the Ambassador Zlata Husa hotel. The service was second to none, very quick at check in and out.
The buffet breakfast was one of the best I have ever experienced, and served for a whopping 5 hours from 6am to 11am!
The dinner was excellent too, but I would recommend eating in the basement restaurant rather than the lobby bar as the beer and wine is way cheaper.
The location is very central, close to shops and only a 5 minute walk from Old Town Square.
The only downside to this hotel was the Thai massage salon which I found to be overpriced for the level of service and treatment, definitley not worth the money.

Prague

Very nice hotel. My stay here was like Zlata (gold). Warm and educated professionals in that hotel. Excellent location near some most beautifull places of Prague. Very quit and very beautifull hotel.
I used some of the services of the hotel like room service, limousine service, and laundry.
It really helps find a good accomodation to enjoy Prague. For more information about Hotel Ambassador ad others see for example [--] . Hope you enjoy so much as I did.
