Leeds, United Kingdom Stayed at Ambassador Zlata Husa (AZH) for 3 nights (24th to 27th December) and was satisfied with the place and services.
Received 3 complimentary drink vouchers upon checking in for each guest. The vouchers can be redeemed at their casino, at their lounge on the lobby, and another at a restaurant.
Hotel\'s surrounding was elegant and clean. All staffs speaks good English, if not already basic, as well as German and Italian. I\'ve come to know that most of them are bilingual. They are all friendly.
I believe all rooms are equipped with a jacuzzi bath tub, which is a cool and useful feature for a relaxing bath.
Safe is not PIN activated but with your room\'s key card.
Spacious wardrobe and the room is well lighted. There is 19 channels on TV and channel #5 and 17 are CNN and BBC in English respectively. I think there is also a few channels in German. Hollywood movies are played but dubbed in Czech.
Loads of drinks from their minibar but you\'ll be better off getting them off the streets.
A variety of selections to choose from for breakfast. Four types of juices are available -- Multivitamins (Tropical fruits), Orange, Apple, and Grapefruit. Ham, cheese, and salami for the Italians have its own table and platter. A selection of fish or seafood salad are also available. Pancakes are served hot from the hob and is made on demand. Bacon, scrambled eggs, long beans, sunny side egg, pasta, etc. are available buffet style. Cereals, croissant breads, a variety of European cheeses are all available to quench your hunger on breakfast. You will be spoilt for choice in AZH\'s breakfast room.
A word of caution, never ever leave any valuables (e.g. cash, jewelries) where any one especially house-keeping cleaners have access to. Always keep them in a safe or with you. This should be a standard procedure/knowledge for all travelers. Not saying that AZH have thieves, but do not take the risks.
Take a right turn upon exiting the hotel and walk all way straight for 4-5 minutes and you\'ll arrive Old Town Square. It is in the center of every attraction hot spots. Restaurants serving traditional Czech cuisines are all within walking distances.
Do not forget to try Czech hotdogs.

s.w.scotland My husband and i have just returned from a 4 night break in prague, taking in the start of the xmas markets which were fabulous. We choose the ambassador after reading all the reveiws on these pages, we found the hotel to be of a generally high standard, the lobby bar was spacious and well decorated. We also had a meal in the lobby bar and it was very good
We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, they also do have a sense of humour if you are willing to chat to them about other things apart from the hotel/service. I forgot to pack our travel adaptor and enquired at reception were we could buy one
the girl brought a box out with various adaptors and phone chargers... problem solved, we handed it back it again at the end of our visit.
The hotels situation could not be better, right at the top of wenselas square, everything was withen walking distance, but take really comfy shoes as most of the streets are cobbled.
Our room did not have a seperate shower(no loss as putting your feet against the water jets in the bath was heaven after a days walking, plus point was we had a mini balcony that we could watch all the hustle and bustle going on down below. There was no extra charge for use of the safe and mini bar which was the best stocked bar we have seen and was very reasonable.Breakfast set us up for the day. too many good eating places to mention, one was Jama which is just off the square follow signs for o\'reillys irish pub just as you come to the radisson take a right and its the second bar down, food and drink very very reasonable, it is frequented by all sorts of local czech people ..business men in suits, students and of course us tourists, the waitressess there were very informative about the different types of czech beer.
We would definately go back to the ambassador and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for anyone.

Oxford, UK Stayed 3 nights at the Ambassador in early November. We got a great deal via a web hotel broker service and booked a double room.
Public transport is a whizz from the airport, bus 119 and then Metro in arpx 35 mins to 150 yards from the hotel. Bus does get packed and a little frenetic, and locals seem less than impressed.
On arrival (early) we were checked into our room. Clean, spacious and appeared recently renovated - but Twin beds. A phone call and 15-20 mins later we were transferred to a double room of similar standard, though bathroom was a little more \'worn\' in. Rooms super warm, but then aren\'t most hotels these days.
Breakfast was plentiful, though we\'ve had better spreads in our time; but enough to set you up for a day walking the beautiful streets of Prague - for which this hotel is in touching distance of anything and everything you\'d want access to.
Did not have lunch or dinner at the hotel, rather chose to explore abundance of options in Prague. Did have a night cap at the hotel bar, but like many of the bars and restaurants in Prague - was full of smokers - full flavoured camel brand types.
Generally pleasant and efficient, though staff seemed somewhat jaded and smiles didn\'t feel natural. Entertainment on the morning of departure was provided by two burly local (appeared to be) drunk business men, tables and chairs went flying... but was very well handled by staff.

New York City, New York This hotel does not offer internet access!
Anything you read, including the hotel\'s own website, saying that they offer \"Internet Access\" is inaccurate. Their idea of \"internet access\" is a spare phone jack! They have no ethernet access and no wi-fi, not even for a fee.
Also, other reviewers have praised AZH\'s breakfast buffet. I don\'t know why. Out of six days I was there, for three there were no croissants and for one there was no scrambled eggs -- how does a hotel run out of scrambled eggs?

UK what a beautiful hotel and public rooms. we were 9 of us on vacation. we got in very late, and the hotel restaurant was probably closed, but they invited us to go downstairs to order dinner. the one waiter was so kind and wonderful. the food (for a hotel restaurant) was actually very, very good (and expensive). the rooms were beautiful and the bathrooms were marble, very large and beautiful. there was a jacuzzi and a separate shower, with really good water pressure. there were also a nice array of bathroom amenities, as well as a bathrobe to use while at the hotel. we had no a/c problems. the rooms were very nice and comfy. the location was excellent. walk out and turn right and any part of prague is in front of you. black light theatre, opera house, restaurants, the bridge, clock, whatever. ate at The Blue Rose (can\'t think of czech name) and it was excellent.
