A really good location for everything. Internet was additional, which is annoying. The breakfast is ok - get an omlette or pancakes made as everything else is not first class.

The room was \"traditional\" we has a junior suite which was bigger and probably worth it.

Make sure you book your free hotel transfers as we left it to last minute and were told the driver was busy.

Service was average, as with a lot of places we have been to recently (except Le Meriden Vienna).

We did a 4 hour walking tour which was very informative, probably about an hour too long though.

DONT eat at the Prague Tavern? - at the end of the square... they added about an extra 38% to our bill for taxes, services, and other charges... they also charged for the stale bread they dumped on our table when we sat down. A simple lunch ended up being about $130 AUD.

The hotels casino was seedy, but i won $500 AUD.

Eat at a place called \"The Sherwood\" unbelievable and cheap.
The steaky type places were also nice, as was Cafe Number 1.

The hotel has a great location and nice bathroom. But it is befinatelly not for hot summer days. I stayed at this hotel in summer 2006 in quite hot days and it was awful at night. After we asked at the reception we were given a fan but still it was too hot to sleep or relax in the room. Also no view from the window

Great value for money hotel. 3 of us stayed in a room and it was very comfortable. old-school chandeliers and spacious. we wanted it to be a boy\'s trip and this hotel\'s location is perfect for that. There is a casino in the hotel as well as a strip club. amazing! other adult activities are also nearby. it is also only a ten minute walk to charles bridge. good however, my only qualms are perhaps its service. on the whole, satisfactory. However, one incident that left a bad taste in my mouth was when i wanted to change my traveller\'s cheque. i gave my passport, and for some reason, my name was not in the computer when she keyed in the room number. without hesitation, she quickly accused me of staying in the hotel illegally and that i should get out. i was shocked! then i told her i filled in forms and everything. after further meddling with the computer, i was proved right....and she apologised half-heartedly. that incident really annoyed me. a shame for an otherwise good hotel. will b back though.
