Prague, Czech Republic Hotels and Apartments

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in August 2004 on the recommendation of our travel agent. While the hotel is lovely, we had a serious problem with what they call air conditioning. While the hotel claimed they had it, it was no controlled by each room and was supposedly a central air system. It was not sufficient for Prague in August (and for the price we were paying a night, I should have been comfortable!). If air conditioning is not an issue with you (or if you are going in the winter), the only other consideration is that while the location is central, it is in the seedier part of Prague were many late night activities trail into early morning. As long as you\'re careful, the location is not unsafe- just colorful.
