Charlottesville, VA This was our first trip to Prague. Our daughter and niece were spending a semester abroad, the latter in Prague so we had a family/student gathering there over spring break.
The trip was fantastic and the hotel was perfect for us. We had a small group for half the week and then moved to the imperial suite for the second half- not a hitch in relatively complicated and frequently altered reservations made by e-mail. We had students in and out and the staff was very helpful in suggesting activities, directions, etc. They arranged taxi service from the airport for my wife and I as well as our daughter and friends.
The accommodations were great. We used the in-room computers to skype (a real savings since our daughter and friends had Spanish cells and we also wanted to stay in touch with our kids back home). Buffet breakfast was punctual and promptly replenished; the staff put together to-go boxes for us on our day of departure and when we took a day trip.
This hotel gave us a great value and experience in a truly amazing city. Recommend highly.

Melbourne, Vic. Australia The location is just superb. We had a two bedroom apartment overlooking the Charles Bridge, were never affected by any untoward street noise and had a constant parade of entertainment each time we looked out of our window.
The desk staff were very helpful and infomative. THe cleaning staff were almost invisible but effective. The facilities were very good. The air conditioning seemed to be either on, or off. We had difficulty in controlling the thermostate to any degree.
Breakfast was good.
If in Prague, I would certainly stay there again.

minnesota we just returned from prague where we split our week there between the lundborg and the residence retezova. they are both great hotels with historic apartment-like suites very well located and in a similar price range. our suite, no. 1., looked out over the very end of the charles bridge (you can\'t see water) and offered great access to the bridge, especially for photographers wishing to get those glorious early morning shots when the bridge is quiet and with very few people (as opposed to the thousand or so during the height of the day and night). the suite was comfortable- the bed heavenly with the thick down comforter and pillow top mattress. the breakfast was plentiful and delicious and included in the price. my only complaints were that the staff was somewhat unfriendly and not nearly as helpful as the staff at the residence retezova. and our two requests, one for extra hangers and one for an extra pillow were not really met. oh, and our internet connection with the in-room computer could not connect and they were unable to fix this although it was over the easter holiday which may have meant some staff were on vacation. at least this was the impression i got from them. there was another computer we could use in a public space to check e-mail and train schedules for the day trips we made. this was still a great hotel and i\'d recommend it even with its shortcomings, which were few and not overly significant.

Gateshead Have just returned from Prague, stayed 2 nights in Suite 5. Looked out onto the Charles Bridge. Staff very friendly & helpful. Although weather cold, rooms were very warm. My son loved the free internet access. Would recommend this Hotel to everyone. The only down side to our trip is that I would recommend to everyone to check the exchange rates before changing any money, the rates advertised outside may outlets are not what you get inside.

south of England After reading reviews of this Hotel I booked it for the location and was not disappointed. It is right by the Charles Bridge, suite 7 that we had looked out on to the bridge. It is only 50m from the tram stop and a pleasant walk across to the Old Town. The room itself was superb, plenty of space, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a lounge area with a sofa bed, a kitchen area with fridge and a lovely big bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Breakfast is in a smaller pleasant room, usual fare plus eggs if you want them. I would definately stay here again, good value for the location and the size of the room. One thing, don\'t use the Hotel taxi from the airport, they charged 700 Kr, it actually only costs 450 Kr if you get a taxi yourself.
