Prague, Czech Republic Hotels and Apartments

By my stay in Hotel Dvorak I´m very enjoy with the services in this hotel. All of the staffs are very lovely to myself. I´m very pleased with this stay.

This hotel is full of contraditions with seemingly one step into capitalism and one step still in the communist mentality. Depending on who is attending the front desk the service can be very good to non existant. The rooms are European style with older furnishings, but a modern bathroom with all the amenities (yes, as per the previous reviewer the towels do have holes in them!). If you get a window room facing the spectacular castle, the view is tremendous, but the noise from the nearby bridge is terribly annoying (we wore earplugs at night which solved the problem as we wanted the windows open). All day loud, irritating Czech \"rock\" music plays in the lobby and at breakfast (peace and quiet would be much more suitable to compliment the loveliness of the town). If you can deal with these discrepancies, the hotel is overall one of the better choices in town. The only real competition for amenities would be The Ruze, otherwise most accommodations here are pensions. Do not let any of this discourage you from visiting this incredibly beautiful place. We had intended on staying here one night and ended up being there for three. A truly magical (albeit crowded) place.
