Washington D.C. We stayed at the Roma Hotel for 7 nights in mid-late November and had a wonderful time. We loved the location because it was very convenient to all of the sights without being in the center of the city. It\'s only a short walk to the river, the Charles Bridge, and the funicular railway, which takes you to Petrin Hill. We used suggestions from other postings on this site to get from the airport to the hotel via bus, train & tram and found it very easy and much less expensive than a cab. There were several restaurant choices within a few blocks of the hotel, so if you didn\'t feel like venturing too far away at night, you won\'t have trouble finding a good dinner.
The front desk staff was always very helpful & friendly. We frequently used the computers & internet in the lobby. The breakfast was pretty standard but had a variety of choices. The rooms were what we expected based on previous reviews - very spacious but minimal. The only complaint would be the noise - we could often hear everything from the room beside us & from the room across the hall, and thus, always felt that we had to whisper if we didn\'t want to disturb our neighbors. The lobby was very smoky, but I found that was the case everywhere in Prague. Also, many of the rooms do not have shower curtains, so your only options are to take a bath or to bend down & attempt to take a shower. However, we were prepared for this since earlier reviews had mentioned this issue.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay & would have given it a perfect score if not for the acoustic/sound issues.

Paris This Hotel has most of what you can expect from a 3 stars Hotel (US Std) except this hotel has absolutely no noise insulation and I would NOT & NEVER recommend this Hotel if you plan to go for a romantic trip.
I really had the impression to be sleeping in a YMCA with people walking in and out in my room and showers running early in the morning and late nights.
Prague is really beautiful and it\'s perfect for a week end and all is done to walk and eat very well.

Emma Dillon Just got back from 4 days in Prague and this hotel was great. We had a lovely big room over looking the patio area where you can eat breakfast outside.
The staff are really helpful and friendly (most unusual for Prague!)
The breakfast in the morning was great - lots of choice, bread, fruit, croissants, pan au chocolat, ham, cheese, eggs (boiled and scrambled) yoghurt, cereal, coffee, juice, water and lots of choice for tea!
If I went back to Prague - I would stay here again and would highly recommend it to others. It\'s a short walk to Charles Bridge and there are some fantastic places to eat near the hotel...

Athens We just get back in Athens from Prague. We stayed at hotel Roma for 7 nights, for 125 euros per night (you see, is a high season, and websites which had a better price for the hotel didn\'t had availability (booking.com etc), so we had to book through hotel website. But it was a great choce, I think. Lovely and spacious room, a huge bathroom, a lovely inner patio we looked in, a geat breakfast (we took 3 kilos each!!), and very helpful staff. The location is excellent- the best place in Prague, quiet enough ,close to major attractions and with a very good tram connection.
There is a problem with the really thin walls (you can hear everything), but lucky enough we didn\'t experience any problem .All our neighboors were very quiet!
Prague is a great city to explore (not only castles and museums, but excellent parks, a great Zoo, and endless lovely pubs with excellent beer!!). Beeing in Roma was an extra pleasure to us. We highly recommend the hotel and its location in Mala Strana, the most nice area of Prague!!

ireland Our party of 6 male adults arrived in Prague airport on Monday 10th September and were collected by the hotel taxi and dropped off at our hotel in the heart of Prague. The main purpose of our visit was a football game between Rep Ireland v Czech Rep,but from the moment we stepped into this hotel from the staff at reception who had perfect English to the rooms them selves (which was refurbished in 2004) which were spotless clean , we were very impressed with the hotel .The staff at reception (especially Susanna) helped with any queries or problems we had ,and the bar was very reasonably priced for a hotel ,buffet breakfast was first class and very comfortable surroundings.
I cant finish without mentioning the fabulous Aquarium on display in the lobby and the shark (Romeo) patrolling it day and night it is spectacular to say the least.
