Prague, Czech Republic Hotels and Apartments

We stayed here at the end of July for 3 nights. The hotel was in an excellent central location and also opposite Petrin park (a lovely park with tended gardens and a minature version of the Eiffel tower). Our room which was on the 2nd floor was huge and very clean although the view wasn\'t so great as we looked into the hotel atrium. The staff at this hotel couldn\'t have been better. We had a friendly, efficient check-in and the staff were very helpful in advising us on arranging trips in and around Prague. The hotel also provided free internet access 24 hours a day which came in handy. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We are a family of three adults who stayed at this excellent hotel in early April 2007. Room was easily the most spacious of our trip. Bathroom was fully equipped even to a bidet (would have loved a high up shower head hook tho!). Every thing spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast and very helpful, multi language speaking reception staff which really make the difference in a hotel. Free internet in an impressive foyer was a bonus. Position is excellent, Tram 22 at the door will take you to mainline trains at Holesvice station to Berlin etc. Better position than frenetic Charles Bridge area imo ... lots of good restaurants in the Mala Strana a short walk away. Highly recommend !!

I picked Hotel Roma because we were travelling to Prague with my ailing mother and little sister. The location of the hotel couldn\'t have been better - opposite three tram stops and walking distance to the beautiful Charles Bridge. The hotel staff were really friendly and patient with our 100 questions and there was a great hot and cold buffet breakfast every morning. My only complaint was the room. An attic conversion, with one skylight window, it was stuffy, dark and airless. The \"double\" bedroom had two single beds joined together which kept slipping away from each duing the night. Very uncomfortable. Also, the walls were so thin that I could hear my mother coughing in the next room. I would highly recommend the Bohemia Bagel and Svetska restaurant to the left of the main hotel entrance.
