cornwall An excellant value for money hotel. We stayed in Nov 2007 and had a brill time. We ate at the little restaurant recommended in a previous review. However, we discovered 2 places which we would highly recommend The Cafe Savoy around the corner from the hotel and the Hotel Kampa Park for a delightful evening meal, even in November on the outside terrace - all heated and even has blankets in case you get cold. All in all an excellant trip - well worth the money

Boston, Massachusetts Location, location, location! This hotel was walking distance to everywhere - Old Town, New Town, Prague castle and elsewhere. I didn\'t have to take the tram or metro at all Plenty of cafe and restraurants nearby. There\'s a couple of delis near the hotel where I bought bottles of water, soda every day so that I didn\'t have to pay the hotel prices. The staff at the reception desk was most gracious and helpful, spoke very good English, and really made you feel at home. The hotel is clean and spacious, had a small TV but no clock. They gave me a wake up call every morning. I would say it\'s equivalent to a 3 star hotel in the U.S.
Breakfast was good, with a variety of croissants, as well as breads and juices. The hot breakfast was very good scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and sausage \"hot dogs\". Their massage shower was most exhilarating after a day of walking in the cold. The fitness center had 1 treadmill but no one was ever in that room so it was always available. New equipment for everything. The only negative comment I have is that they advertise for a sauna but you have to pay 300KC for using it. That I skipped.
I had a very pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel to everyone, as long as you\'re not expecting chandeliers in the lobby or chocolates on the bed.

Cork Good Hotel, friendly staff. It was in a handy location for our trip. Breakfast has a nice selection. Clean and comfortable. Rooms are ok clean but pretty standard. Would recommend this hotel

Jülich Das Hotel Roma empfehle ich gerne weiter. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl dort. Beim nächsten Besuch in Prag steige ich dort wieder ab. Es liegt sehr Central.

Prague I can\'t overstate how disappointed I am with this hotel. I visit Prague regularly, usually stay at \'budget\', but perfectly acceptable hotels such as the Claris, but decided to try the Roma at really good seasonal rates. Reasons for trying - the location and the classy-looking foyer.
However - main things I want out of a hotel are a comfortable and quiet room. The rooms do not even approach the standard expected of a supposedly four-star hotel. They are functional and spacious but nothing more. I was booked in for a Kingsize bed and have actually got twin beds, the covers of both of which are stained. There is no in-room tea or coffee making facility, the TV is tiny, the absence of \"characterful\" or experience-forming small touches is absolute.
Worst of all - I\'m writing this from the room, and right now I can hear every sound from the bathroom of the room beside me. Every tap, drain, flush, plop and tinkle is replayed to great effect in the corner of the room right next to where I was trying to lay my head. The fact that the whole hotel has resonating, tiled floors does not help one bit.
In summary: either pay more for a place such as the Josef, save your money but get a better hotel service at a place such as the Claris, or move two minutes and three tram stops down the road to the splendid Andels. Do not spoil your trip to Prague by staying here.
