Hotel Juno

Israel

The hotel was really good, i really had a good time in prague.
the hotel is very close the metro station, it took us less then 10 min to reach the center. All the people are really nice & polite. I Recommend this hotel to everyone.

Co Tyrone Norhern Ireland

Do not under any circumstances stay in this Hotel, the staff at the desk speak little English but the rest of them had not a clue what we were talking about, they are the rudest people that I have had the misfortune to come across in all my travels. I know that Prague has only been a tourist spot for a few years but manners are something that come naturally to most people, not so in their case. There was twelve of us staying in the Hotel on a hen party our ages ranged from 20 to 53 yrs old and each one of us felt the same about the place. We asked the staff to book us a taxi and we checked the price before we set out, the taxi drivers got lost and drove us round the whole city then tried to charge us 100 extra, the next day we asked could they order us AAA taxi and they said no as they had a contract with the previous nights taxi firm. I beg you do not stay in this Hotel they have made my experience of Prague a nasty one.

Queens, NY

I stayed at the Juno Hotel last week. The whole experience was awful. The beds were not particularly comfortable and there was no air conditioning/flow in the room. I found the front desk staff to be particualrly rude. They would only entertain one or two questions. If you had a question beyond what they were robotically trained to answer, they would say they wouldn\'t help anymore. I actually had a case where the woman called a tourist place for me, and when I asked her to show me the area on the map where I had to go, she said she couldn\'t give me info and I should call the place back because they spoke English (keep in mind she just spoke to them in their native tongue.) To add insult to injury, there was a delagtion of over 100 young teenagers staying on my floor who stayed up to all hours of the night. One hears everything in the hallways. I would advise travellers to steer clear of this non friendly, non English speaking \"hotel.\"

Pembrokeshire

The hotel is miles away from the centre of Prague with a considerably long walk to the Metro (10-15mins). The rooms are more like a hostel room, very basic with plastic shower cubicles, bed and tv. We had booked a double room and were given a twin with an extra bed thrown in. (if you can call them proper beds, no headboards, no extra blankets) seatee would be more appropriate (very uncomfortable). The towels (if you can call them that were the size of a Tea Towel with no knapp). The quilt was very thin and not long enough to cover an adult of average height. (child size only). NO CENTRAL HEATING ON AT ALL, when complained to the receptionist she just walked away. Reception staff, were very rude and said they had no doubles in the hotel and just ignored us. When we asked for a refund we got a very abrupt NO. Strong smell of chip fat on entering reception with hundreds of young students milling around. We decided to book another proper hotel in the centre which cost us the same price we had paid for the Juno, the staff there were very friendly and we had a whole apartment for the same money. WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.

UK

Bearing in mind that the standard in the Czech Republic IS more basic that other european countries I found this hotel great for stopping over - I don\'t expect other countries to adapt to english standards.

The reception was a big letdown (very dark, brown and smoky) but since I only wanted a bed to sleep in and a bathroom I could look that part over. The room was basic (bed, cupboards, TV) but very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was new with a corner shower and the WC was separate which is great if you share. The breakfast buffet was basic like the czech cuisine but plentiful and tasty.
The location is great too, it is quiet in a residential area and the next Metro stop is only 5 mins walk away. You are in the inner city within 5 mins.
I will definitely stay there again rather than pay a lot of money to stay in the inner city!
