Blackpool We have just spent 4 days in Prague staying in the Hotel Juno. We expected and booked a central hotel but unfortunaltly the Juno is 10 mins walk away from the end of the line Metro station then 15 min into the Old Town area. Although the hotel is 14 stories high, and of eastern block design we found the rooms to reasonably comfortable, apart from the beds which were basically covered wooden boxes with a sheet laid on top. TV/heating and newly re-furbished bathrooms with excellent showers and plentiful hot water. The breakfast was excellent with a choice of cereals.yoguart/cheeses/bread/cakes and assorted hot food, and every evening we ate in the resturant, choice was limited but food was hot and plentyful, staff were all friendly and helpful - apart from the distance to the main city our main complaint was the NOISE - the hotel mainly caters fos student coach parties which run around the corridors until 1/2 oclock in the mornings shouting and screaming.

Inverness, Scotland We stayed 3 nights in early December. The hotel was basic but clean. Since we only slept there and spent most days out exploring the city then I don\'t feel there is anything to complain about. Breakfast was fine - a bit unsual - i had pickled cabbage, roast potatoes and pasta salad for breakfast each day (although there was some cereal, yogurt, toast, etc) - but it was all ok. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night - we were the only ones there so service was quick. I liked my meal but my fiance wasn\'t so keen on his salmon. We tended to eat in the markets or at street stalls in the city centre. The staff could be a bit awkward - they wouldn\'t let us or another couple into our rooms even though they had the keys at reception so the rooms had obviously been cleaned and were available but they said that no new arrivals were allowed into their rooms before 2 o\'clock however we just waited in reception and they let us in about 1.30. The breakfast and dinner waiter looked very stern and scary but turned out to be very nice!
There is a good wee market between the hotel and metro station on the same side of the road as the metro station (which is only about 10 mins walk from the hotel). It had some nice clothes but not as cheap as i had expected and also it was far too cold to try anything on! I have to admit though, that i never really got the hang of the exchange rate for money and spent all the time thinking things were either really expensive or really cheap!!

Tel Aviv, Israel My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Juno last week. The hotel is situated in a very grim looking neighborhood. The room was basic with two single beds pushed together, as there were no double beds. The bathroom and toilet were new and separate. I thought the breakfast was OK until I discovered some mould on the cherry sponge cake. The metro is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel and takes about 10 minutes to the center. The hotel staff were very unhelpful, emotionless and rude. They appeared annoyed when asked for any information or help. Prague is a beautiful city, it\'s just such a pity that the Czech people are so cold, unfriendly and impatience towards the tourists, both inside and outside the hotel.

Coventry, West Midlands After reading most of the awful reviews on this hotel, and having already booked I was more than concerned over what I would find having already booked last minute.
However despite the narrow twin beds and somewhat unhelpful staff, I found the overall stay much better than anticipated. The rooms were clean, with a modern tiled shower room and separate loo which were excellent.
The breakfast was fine in a pleasant dining room and although the bar area was often smoky this was hardly the fault of the hotel. This was made up for by pleasant company and reasonable bar prices. For those reviewers who complained about the distance from the centre, the excellent Metro station was 12 minutes pleasant walk away and you could be in the centre from leaving the hotel inside 20 minutes at a cost of 50 pence. The location in a quiet suburb ensured a good nights sleep (even with the dutch football supporters up \'til very late)
For the price we paid I was well satisfied with the accommodation and holiday overall.

Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany One thing first: This is not a luxorius hotel.
BUT: The rooms are basic and clean. The hotel staff is ok, but they wont go the extra mile to help you.
If you are traveling in a group, then this will be a good hotel because it also has a reasonable priced hotel bar and restaurant (the food was ok. But not more than o.k.).
So i give this hotel 4 points because of its price value compared to service. (hey, by EUR 20 a night / per person incl. breakfast and dinner what do you expect)
