Atlanta I can fairly recommend this nice hotel. Me and my wife liked the location just few steps from the Charles bridge and we enjoyed the stay in the historical centre of this beautiful city. The staff was nice and helpful ( just one girl was not smiling so much but there could be some reason, we did not know about...anyway she was OK). The breakfast was just great. We tried also the restaurant - a bit pricy but very good. Also you do not need the notebook, there is a computer with internet free on the first floor.
You can book also the bike trip in the hotel, which was fabulous experience but of course it depends on the weather. We had the great sunny day for this trip to Karstejn castle...not so far, the track is flat and the nature great...
We would come back....

Liverpool, United Kingdom Current building work on Charles Bridge, directly outside the hotel, which made access difficult with constant noise and the view up Charles Bridge from our room was of a crane and scaffolding. A beautifully situated hotel however location and views were let down by the poor standard within the hotel. The antique settings were lovely and the room was an average size however throughout our stay we had problems (which were reported). Safe not working, bulbs broken, room not cleaned, complimentary tray not stocked, taps leaking, no information provided in room.
It may also be worth noting that brekfast is average and self-service (including drinks), there is no lift but a steep spiral staircase and no lounge bar to unwind in at the end of the day.
Prague is magnificent and I will be returning but despite its location and furnishings I will not stay here again. This is not a bad hotel but I would rate it a 3* not 4* and there were better value hotels in the immediate vicinity.

Bolton This is a lovely hotel with friendly staff. An amazing location, overlooking Charles Bridge and a very short stroll to the Old town Square.
The rooms are large and well equipped.
On the downside if you sleep with the windows open it is very noisy from late night revellers crossing Charles Bridge.
The breakfast was a hot and cold buffet with plenty to choose from.
We did not try the restaurant but the bar closed quite early for Prague; also the bar could not be accessed from inside the hotel.
There is no lift but as there are only 3 floors this did not affect us but some other residents struggled with their luggage up and down the stairs.
There are some wonderful restaurants within walking distance at reasonable prices.

Hadsten, Denmark A friend and I had two single rooms for some days in August and were mighty pleased. The free wireless internet was fantastic, as we began our daytrip by sitting at the outside restaurant overlooking the Charles Bridge (yes it is that central) surfing the internet and decide on the day\'s doings.
The house was built in 1674, so the rooms were on the small side, but adequate, and there is no elevator. This was not a problem, but should be mentioned. (the house is only three stories hight).
The service was very professional both at day and at night and everything was clean and kept that way during our stay.
The price was also very reasonable (about 90€/night/room). Very recommendable.

Wales Stayed in a double room for three nights. This is a wonderful old hotel, full of character and fully modernised. The location is right at the end of Charles Bridge which gives easy access to both the Old Town and Lesser Town areas. Be sure to try the bucks fizz on the breakfast buffet - an ideal \"pick me up\" after a night out on the town. Overall - a wonderfull old hotel, fully modernised in an ideal location for sightseeing in Prague.
