San Diego
My family and I recently stayed at this gem of a hotel in February 2005.
I was a little hesitant as I read the reviews regularly on this website and one for this hotel was not very good. However, we decided to stay and we enjoyed our time. The hotel is located in a wonderful area, righ off the Charles Bridge on the side of the castle. It is a lovely old building. We had both a single and double room. They were both very nice, our view of the Charles Bridge was really nice and the noise wasn\'t too bad.
The people in the hotel were pleasant and helpful. The restaurant located in the hotel is wonderful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Massachusetts
We arrived during an extremely warm spell. There was no AC and our room looked out exactly at an outdoor cafe. If we opened the curtains ( in order to breathe) people sitting at the cafe stared in at us. It was a fairly small room so there was nowhere to hide. We asked if we could be moved and we were moved for one night only. We decided that we would have to find another hotel. This price of this hotel was comparable to the price of the hotel that we stay in Paris, on the Ille St. Louis. The staff was extremely unhelpful. I need to add that we have traveled extensively and never before have we left a hotel.
We found a room at the Hotel Certovka and were extremely happy.

Chicago
fabulous location right at the foot of the charles bridge . charming room , good sized , with nice fixtures . excellent restaurant , and a very nice breakfast . the staff was very helpful and polite . they just don\'t have an elevator , and a four story walk-up is really five floors by my standard , a real handicap for the climbing umpaired .

Paris
Tres bel endroit à l\'une des extrémité du Pont Charles. Les chambres sont très cosy (plafonds en boiseries peintes). Près de l\'ancien quartier de la rive gauche de Prague. ambiance très dépaysante. Belle terrasse
