Hotel U Tri Pstrosu

Senigallia

I was in this hotel with my wife last week end and we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed just for 2 nights and for this reason we where looking for one hotel located in the centre, to do not loose time to move from the hotel to the best part of the town.

With this hotel located exactly on the pier of Charles Bridge we really made the best choice.

Old town square, Prague castle, Wenceslas square and all the main monuments where 5 minutes away by walk.

We also enjoy hotel restaurant with the romantic terrace on Charles bridge.

Our room was comfortable, with original antique furniture, the breakfast was reach and the staff professional and helpful.

In the lobby there was a pc with internet connection free of charge.

I would recomand this hotel to my best friends,

Istanbul

Ok...we had booked a classy nice room close to Charles Bridge and on our arrival thats exactly what we got. The hotel sits aside the bridge and from our (very) spacious room we could count and allmost touch the statues and tourists that grace the river.
On checking in , we found our room No.14 and were amazed at it\'s size and comfort.......looking out the windows from our room we were met with the look of many envious tourists on a stroll on the bridge...and so i put on my sunglasses and looked like a prat.
The room was lovely with oak beams and furniture to match. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night but the breakfast was excellent and the reception desk was happy to keep our bags long after check-out.
Overall a super clean hotel in an unforgetable location....we paid only £57 for this room. The hotel restaurant seems to charge exorbiant charges and so i would reccomend looking elsewhere for food and drinks......there is a handy small supermarket..turn right under the bridge tower..cross the road on your left and there it is..............................Enjoy!

My sister-in-law and I stayed here and really liked it. We arrived about three hours later than scheduled at 1 in the morning, but were warmly welcomed nonetheless. Everything we had asked for on the internet booking was there - view over the Charles Bridge, twin beds, the lot. And there was a well-stocked minibar that inclueded chocolate! We didn\'t eat dinner there, but I can recommend the breakfasts. Fruit, bread, cheese, ham, cereals, tea, coffee and several kinds of fruit juice.
It\'s not a swanky place so if you can\'t live without jacuzzis, lifts and cocktail bars, forget it. If you like solid comfort, good food and value for money, book now.
The hotel is right by the Charles Bridge and, yes, the Charles Bridge is noisy. However, the windows are good thick solid ones and keep out 90% of the noise.
A word of advice - don\'t try and drive to the hotel. It is quite tucked away - even the taxi-driver had to use sat-nav to find it. That said, who needs to drive in Prague? Buses, trams and the metro make it a pointless exercise.

Visited Prague on business and stayed at the Three Ostriches. Having read the reviews online, I was wary about the hotel - but since a colleague booked the hotel I had no choice.

I was pleasantly surprised - my single room was very nice with a great view of the Charles Bridge. I was on the third floor, which provided a great view and perhaps kept me above the noise a bit. There is no elevator so keep that in mind if you are coming here and have difficulty with stairs. I noticed the previous review of the difficulty with the small bath/shower. I had no such issue with my room - no bath but a nice shower with great water pressure. The restaurant was very nice and served a great breakfast. They provide free access to internet, email, etc. and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

There is no doubt that in the summer the noise would be challenging, in fact one of my colleagues had trouble sleeping even with the windows shut (temp was about 0 degrees so air conditioning was not an issue).

The location is really hard to beat, within walking distance of most Prague tourist attractions and with plenty of good restaurants around. I would definitely stay here again in cooler months, but if I was a light sleeper I would think hard about staying here in the summer with the potential noise from the bridge.

Location is hard to beat, literally on the Charles bridge.
The Restaurant is excellent and not overpriced.
Our \"double\" room was twin beds pushed together.
There are no tea/cofee making facilities in the room.
The bath is small and showering almost impossible as an alternative.
Hotel staff were in general friendly.
Finding a decent bar in close proximity is difficult.
A word of caution about Prague, BEWARE of pickpockets, in our three day stay we saw them openly in action especially on Charles bridge.
