Scotland, UK We stayed four nights at the Hotel Seifert and cannot recommend it highly enough!
The area around the hotel is a residential area with a few bars and restaurants, it\'s slightly run down but please dont let that put you off. The hotel is modern and clean, the reception staff spoke very good english and although we didnt need to use them often, they were very helpful when we needed them.
The room was quite large with a big double bed, kettle, fridge, and TV (CNN and sky news). The bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean. It had a good hairdryer and the shower was one of the best i\'ve ever used - just what you need to wake you up in the morning! The room was cleaned and fresh towels provided every day.
The breakfast was also very nice with sausages, various eggs, breads - a bit more than the usual continental breakfast and worth getting up for.
We need to thank the previous person who posted directions from the airport to the hotel using public transport. It was so easy and hassle free we used the bus and metro all week.
If you take the 133 bus from the stop across the road from the hotel, it will take you to the city centre in under 5 minutes. I think the stop was called Starosmaska, this was right next to the old town square (with the astronomical clock) and Charles bridge - so it\'s a very central location. Just remember to buy your travel pass at the airport before you leave, it\'s very cheap and really worth it.
We went a walking tour with the Yellow Umbrella Company. This lasted nearly 3 hours for around £7, but not only was it interesting, it also helped us find our way around for the rest of the week.
We also had dinner in a restuarant in front of the Astronomical clock, I cant remember the name, but it\'s the only one thats downstairs from the street. It was a bit more expensive than other places around, but really worth it. The meals were massive and delicious and a live band played too. A good night and worth the extra.
Prauge is a beautiful city, easy to get around and as cheap or expensive as you want to make it. This hotel was fantastic, a great place to go back to each night and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Dortmund Die Straße in der das Hotel liegt ist eher abschreckend, das Hotel ist aber sehr sauber und ordentlich, die Reception 24 h besetzt und sehr freundlich.

Cheshire, England Just returned from a 2 night stay at Seifert with my partner and 4 friends.I cant recommened the hotel highly enough, all three rooms that we had were spotlessly clean and spacious, the beds are so comfy, just what you need after a days sightseeing!Particular favourite of mine was the powerful, hot shower...fab!The staff are friendly, speak great english and there was a good choice for breakfast.
The 133 bus into the city was great, it runs regularly and takes you to within a 5min walk to the Old Square(where the Astronomical clock is). We bought a 3 day travel pass at the airport (as recommended by users of this site) it cost us around 220 kr and we used this all weekend.
Recommend a resturant around the corner from the hotel if you want a good, cheap meal and beers. 6 of us ate there for less than £5 each including drinks. (Didnt catch the name, but if u come out of the hotel, walk right then take ur first right its approx 50 meters along this road on the right hand corner.
We all loved Prague, its a beautiful city and there are lots to see and do. The only \'problem\' that we had was that as we were a group of 3 ladies and 3 men, the men got constantly hassled by people trying to entice them into lap dancing bars, the fact that they were with us ladies didnt stop them from doing their best to drag them in! (I must admit though, i dont really think that they put up enough resistance!!)
All in all we all had a fab weekend and we will all use Seifert again if we return to this fab city.
