Prague, Czech Republic Hotels and Apartments

went to prague for a long weekend of drinking and night life, coupled with the site seeing through the day. was impressed with what we got at this hotel relative to price. it was cheap the rooms were extremely tidy and the hotel staff were always happy to help. there was internet available at reception anjd there was a bar too. there was cafe close by that sold tradiitonal czech food. the location of hs hotel was okay about a 15 minute walk into the town centre but not ideal. there was no problems with the rooms within the hotel although i was dissappointed there wasno\'t more facilities such as a gym and swimming pool, and the bar was extremely quite.

Atlantic hotel is well situated, just outside the old town. The room was quite large (we\'ve ordered a triple), very simple furnished (but ok) and with a nice modern bathroom. Both the bedroom and bathroom were very clean.
Things I didn\'t like about Atlantic:
1) Service: although effective, people don\'t really put on a friendly face. Actually they just look angry most of the time.
2) Breakfast: not really tasteful

The Atlantic has been recently refurbished to a good standard, clean, comfortable and in a pleasant, convenient location off Namesti Republiky. The staff were most helpful when I had a query on a train ticket, happily phoning around for us until the question was resolved.
Buffet breakfast has a comprehensive selection of food to satisfy all tastes. The corner shop nearby is handy for sweets, nibbles and bottles of water at just 9Kc (same as those sold in airport for 95Kc!)
