Lewiston, Maine What a great stay. Cheap, and within 10 minutes from Wencaslas Square, and Old Town Prague. Clean accomodations, friendly staff, quiet...one block from the city bus.

London Went to Prague for a long weekend (4 days - which I think is abit excessive, 2 days/max 3 should be more than enough for Prague). I had such a hard time looking for reasonably priced hotel. Comparing to the others who\'ve commented, I didn\'t have as good a deal as them since I went there round xmas time. It costed me 92euro per night for a double \"category A\" room. You can pay the rent in euro or czech koruna as you wish.
The room is spacious, basic and clean. Though, as the others have mentioned, the bed is quite hard, the pillow is low, the towels offered are small and there is no kettle/tv in the room. Definitely it\'s a good idea to bring your own if you have a big fuss about pillow height. Also the heater made the room VERY VERY dry. We\'ve tried soaking our own towels + the two towels they offered in water before going to bed and they were COMPLETELY dry when we get up.
We got to the hotel by bus 119 from airport and take the metro to Namesti Miru. The whole journey is probably around an hour? The hotel is very close to the metro station which is handy. We bought a 3 day travel card which I think isn\'t quite necessary since Prague is quite small afterall and single tickets are cheap anyway. The hotel is in ~7-10min walking distance to the National Museum and Wenceslas Square(watch out pickpocket there) and maybe 20min to Old Town Square.
This hotel isn\'t bad. It has all you really need. Most importantly it\'s clean. I would recommend it to anyone who is going there in low season when the rooms are at wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy lower rate.

New Jersey The hotel needs some renovations on the outside and the lobby, but my room was newly renovated.
I stayed in a superior room, it was very spacious, clean, 2 beds and tons of space to organize my stuff. Breakfast had some danishes, ham, bread, milk, coffee, tea, boiled eggs, and the staff always made sure there was plenty even if you were almost at the end of breakfast time. They even made breakfast an hour early because I was leaving and made sure I ate before I left.
The staff was very friendly and very helpful with all my questions.
Location is great, its right next to the Metro.
Bad part:
My room did not have a shower! (and I asked if there were any bathrooms with showers in the hotel and I was told NO!)I am 5\'9 and the bath tub was higher then my knees. I felt like I was climbing up a mountain instead of getting in the bathtub. It was challenging and dangerous I almost slipped a few times and no emergency string to pull if something happens.
Pillows seemed to have been there since WWII.
I wouldnt stay there again because the no shower thing was really uncomfortable for me. Its pretty sad because I really liked the people that worked there.

Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom This hotel is in a great location, 8 mins walk from Wenceslas Square, but only 1 min walk from a picturesque square containing a church well lit up at night and some restaurants and bars.
Locally to the hotel you can get beer (pivo - Pilsner is best) for less than 30Kc (80p), 20Kc (50p) at the lowest I saw in a nearby theater converted into a casino. Dont pay more than 30Kc for a beer.
Restaurants nearby we highly recommend Grosetto Pizzeria for good atmosphere, fantastic food and wine at great prices (£12 for two main courses, a side course and 2 x 500ml of wine) there is an Italian opposite side of the church which is furnished better and is more classier for similar prices which is also top notch.
Cheers is a pub recommended on Trip Advisor but I have to confess its nice inside, but very pricey. You are far better sticking to Popo Cafe Petl ([--]), also very close by to Penzion (Pension) 44. This place is brilliant. Atmosphere one of the best I\'ve experienced in Prague, and very much a young people\'s bar with lots of smoke, music and cheap drinks. Beers are reasonable and cocktails are a maximum of 89Kc (£2.39).
Pub opposite previously the \"dog\'s bo**ocks\" is good for beer and duck meals, but steer clear of their burgers and chicken kebabs.
Overall the hotel is better than you\'ll probably think when you first walk in, the location more than makes up for the poor decor of the hotel. The beds are firm yet comfy, and its warm inside. Its basic but this hotel can be had for £24 per night, it\'s worth it.
Rooms - basic but clean, some are v big, some with TVs, bathroom was nice.
Reception area - Poor, looks worse than it is though.
Lift - has to be seen to be believed. Scary at first but fun.
Beer - Pilsner Urquell, dont pay more than 30Kc. Beer is the best in the world.

Iowa, U.S.A. I would give this hotel a 5-star rating in the budget hotel category. Wife and I stayed on 6th floor in Bourbon room. Very clean and spacious. Was recently refurbished. Hotel is in excellent location, just 2 blocks from Namesti Miru subway stop. With transportation pass you can go directly from airport, via #199 bus and subway, to within walking distance of hotel. No cab or shuttle needed. Hotel is on quiet street near beautiful church. Breakfast is from 8 to 11, good for people who sleep in because of too much pivo. On day we returned, we left hotel at 7:00 a.m., so didn\'t expect breakfast, but the people were so kind they opened breakfast room up early just for us and we had hot coffee, rolls, orange juice and yogurt. That kind of personal touch makes this place special. Our luggage was lost but hotel staff kept on calling Prague airport for us until they located luggage and brought it right to hotel. Wonderful staff.
Tips: Nearby \"Cheers\" restaurant is good and cheap. Walk 5 blocks east to big outdoor beer garden for 25 crown pints of beer ($1.25). Lonely Planet guidebook was our bible. Do the walking tours. Lots of beautiful gardens and parks right in the city! Be careful with the trams -- they don\'t go in circles, so if you get on the wrong one you may end up at a dead end clear out in nowhere. Learn some common Czech words and phrases. The people are very friendly, and if you make an effort to speak some Czech they will make an effort to speak some English. We went in early September and most afternoons you didn\'t even need a jacket. Official exchange offices in subway gave us better rates than our U.S. bank. You will LOVE Prague. Beautiful, clean, friendly, and your American dollar goes far. I shall return!
