It is OK but a little bit overdone. Annimals allowed is something I do not understand for a 5 star Hotel

In all our years of travelling & staying in hotels the Alchymist has to rate up there with the finest.
The decor is GREAT, totally O.T.T.
The Spa facilities are superb.
The professionalism of ALL the staff is first class.
The food is wonderful, we had a particularly enjoyable \"Easter dinner\".
The location of the hotel is just fine, 5 mins walk to the Charles bridge and across into the old town, or between 5 & 10 mins to Prague Castle.
Don\'t even think of staying anywhere else.
We\'ll be back.

My husband and I just returned from a wedding anniversary trip to Prague and stayed at the Alchymist four nights. I was a little nervous looking at the pictures on the web site - was the hotel going to be quirky or tacky? All I\'ll say is everything was great! This is a perfect boutique luxury hotel. Everything, from the service, to the decor, to the complementary wine and cheese tasting in the afternoon.
The location is ideal. You\'re close enough to all the main attractions to walk, but not so close that you\'re in the middle of the hoards (yes, even in April) of tourists.
Do the airport pick-up. If you don\'t want to spurge on the Rolls Royce, the hotel has a regular car that can do it.

Bereits einige Male haben wir in Prag in Hotels der gehobenen Kategorie gewohnt. Dies ist mit Abstand das schönste.
Die opulente Ausstattung in liebevoll restaurierten Gewölben macht den Aufenthalt zu einem besonderen Erlebnis.
Trotz der aufwändigen barocken Ausstattung wirken die Räume nicht kitschig, \"plüschig\" oder überladen. Dazu tragen die durchweg hochwertigen Materialien von den schönen Keramikfliesen, über die Holztreppen bis zur Marmorausstattung von Bädern und Spa-Bereich bei.
Dennoch ist die technische Ausstattung hochmodern: LCD-Fernseher mit DVD-Player im Zimmer, Beleuchtungskonzept, Internetzugang. Die schöne, zentrale Lage macht das eigene Fahrzeug, das in einer Garage sicher untergebracht wird, entbehrlich. Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß gut zu erreichen.
Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das asiatische Spa-Personal.
Insgesamt verbrachten wir sehr schöne Tage in einem rundherum sehr empfehlenswerten Hotel.

We stayed at The Alchymist in late May. Wonderful, individualistic hotel. The staff is excellent. A rooms manager kindly gave my father another room in a totally booked hotel when it turned out that some of the 3rd floor rooms are in highly slanted attics, making movement a little difficult.
My husband and I stayed in 215, a Junior Suite. We received an excellent rate through the hotel website. The room was spacious with twice daily housekeeping.
Everything is very clean.
The Spa is amazing.
The hotel is very relaxing and quirky with a good location about 5-10 minute walk to Charles Bridge.
The breakfasts are elaborate and very good.
