New York We have just returned from a 3 week European vacation Paris, Prague and London. The most memorable of the 3 (all were 5 star hotels) was the Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa in Prague. The service from check in to out was of a time of elegance forgotten is this modern world. The spa treatments were superb. In house dinning was a wonderful experience. The location made touring Prague a breeze. Meeting the owner a wonderful Italian man, Giorgio, had the vibe of visiting royalty more being part of the Royal Family. On our next trip to Europe i would not miss a couple of days at the Alchymist and recommend that you do the same.

London Very very hard to fault - a wonderful 3 night stay and we (2 couples) highly recommend this hotel. The faultless service commenced at Prague airport with their chauffeur greeting us, taking our luggage and whisking us by Jeep to the hotel in less than half an hour.
Splendid spotless deluxe rooms awaited , one with a four poster bed. Linen, towels , robes , slippers, bathrooms, bed, flat screen TV (with BBC1 & 2), DVD player and free plug in broadband excellent, plenty of hanging space and drawers, great housekeeping, turndown service and tasty hotel chocolate.
Spa looked great but didn\'t have time to use it. Breakfast was good and plentiful- a small criticism - coffee and fruit juice not the best( - having said that the coffee wasn\'t very good anywhere in Prague)
Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. The hotel is in a good , very quiet safe location adjacent to the US embassy and an easy and enjoyable 5 min walk to the Charles Bridge.
Didn\'t use the hotel restaurant but it looked very nice. The hotel has lots of interesting chandeliers, antiques, statuary , paintings and furniture (some may think it a little OTT - but in the context of this hotel its quite perfect) .The courtyard is very pretty and must be quite delightful in the summer for breakfast, dining drinks etc...
Prague was an enchanting weekend break and a treasured memory largely because the Alchymist was such a wonderful and warm base to return to. We walked everywhere.
Leaving the hotel was a wrench , the desk staff waived us off wishing us both a safe journey home and an early return to the Alchymist ............and just as we had started our break......the hotel car whisked us back to the airport in style and comfort. For smaller parties with less luggage the hotel will transport you by Rolls Royce.
We will return.

Paris Went there for 3 nights, NYE 2007, with my girlfriend. we had a great time. everything is so perfect. this has to be the best hotel in Prague. I\'ll definitely go back. the staff is so nice, they\'ll do everything to satisfy.(special mention to the french supervisor - i forgot his name :-( )
one thing that can improve is the Room service. Please make that I can eat at anytime in the hotel.
otherwise, it\'s a very big success.
my girlfriend still regrets that we had to leave !!!

Boston, Massachusetts This hotel used to be a palace, and you can tell--the decorations are baroque style, and over-the-top amazing! The bed was decorated in shiny gold leaf, the bathroom was all over marble, the desk looked like something royalty might have used. Free Internet access is included, and a flat panel TV. That\'s all just inside the room, you will want to walk around the hotel just to see the decorations they have placed all over. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection of fruit, meat, and other quality food, and it\'s served in a dining room that is a treat to see just like everything else. The service is excellent as well--we asked for extras for the room and heard a knock on the door within 5 minutes. Plus it is nice seeing 4-5 policemen outside the door at all times (they\'re guarding the US Embassy next door). We did eat at the restaurant, Aquarius, and can highly recommend that as well. Overall, staying here was quite a memorable experience!
