Jill Hirst We stayed last September and booked again this year for the same dates. It was a birthday present for my husband. We decided to stay for 3 nights this time to see some of the sights we didn\'t get chance to see last year.
We are so glad we decided to stay in the same place as the Alchymist is second to none. The staff at the hotel cannot do enough to make your stay special. It was lovely to see the changes that had been made since our last visit (the spa and sushi bar and pool and gym - which we made full use of).
The decor is amazing and I felt like a princess for 3 nights. The facilities at this hotel are second to none, the rooms are beautiful with plenty of hanging space, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer, TV, CD player, mini bar etc..etc... Its not the cheapest place in Prague to stay obviously because its a 5 star Hotel and in our opinion worth every penny for this level of luxury!, let alone the location. A short stroll to Charles Bridge...we will be back!

Northern Ireland I took my hubbie there for a surprise holiday break - have to say it was a fabulous hotel, like noting I have every seen before.
Rooms where just stunning, staff very helful.
Breakfast was good - but the dinners where out of this world.
Have to say it must be the best hotel we have every stayed in.
We booked the 3 day honeymoon package which included a bottle of wine, chocs and fruit on arrival, an evening meal and a romantic massage for the 2 of us- was really romatic.
Close to Charles Bridge - quite central - lovely city.
Loved everything couldn;t recommed higly enough.

Basel Wonderfully situated- quiet street in immediate proximity to the Castle, the Charles Bridge and all the sites to see. But better than the location was the hotel, which was so nice we were torn between seeing Prague and enjoying what felt like our own palace. It is quaint in size, 30+ rooms, and with a lovely spa and elegant comfortable rooms. The style of the hotel was pleasently in keeping with its history, but very modern in all luxuries and comforts. The staff was not like the rest of the service we found in Prague, the grunts and heaves were stopped at the door, and we were grateful for the helpful and friendly staff. They booked us a 10+ private walking tour of the city with a lovely guide, Hanna. Before I bore you, I would suggest you go and see if for yourself, you cant miss on this one.

Ronen I booked the Alchymist as a surprise gift for my wife\'s birthday, after a long search, using Tripadvisor and other sites. The decor was very special compared to other hotels, and I was a bit afraid my wife would think it was \"too much\".But It was a huge success!! we used a lot the words Amazing, Perfect, and unbelievable.
The hotel looks like a real palace. My wife put it like this: if we saw the beautiful furniture, bedcloths and decor in a museum, there would be a \"do not touch\" sign. But we are actually using it all !!! I had to \"drag\" her to see the sites outside.
The hotel is new and spotless, every item is of the highest quality, the staff is very warm, friendly and helpfull. We had a Galla dinner at the hotel restaurant, with an opra singer singing arias by Verdi, and the food was wonderful too.
The location is perfect too, very close to the castle and to all the other main attractions, but off the crowded streets.
staying there was a delight, and we are already planning our next time there.
