Hotel Alchymist Grand and Spa

UK

Fabulous hotel with friendly attentive staff and wonderful decor.
Spent a weekend in Prague at this hotel with only praises to sing.
The room had everything one could ask for and a very glamorous marble bathroom.
Breakfast (which was an extra) was a buffet of hot and cold items - plenty to satisfy even the most particular palate.
Definitely will come back again.

Swindon

What a great place to stay. The staff were A1, helpful and polite.
Excellent breakfast. The rooms are superb. It truly was a wonderful experience staying in the Alchymist. We will stay again.

London

Absolutely loved this hotel - the decor could have been really over the top but somehow worked and the attention to detail made it a really special place to stay. Staff very helpful. Touches like the complimentary cheese and wine tasting were very nice too. Facilities were good and the fitness centre was excellent - very clean and new equipment. Good location too - just a few minutes from Charles Bridge and lots of good local bars and restaurants close by. Overall we loved it!

Washington, USA

My wife and I just returned from a week in Prague and we can highly recommend the city and the Alchymist Hotel. Prague is very beautiful, and very reasonable when compared to other European cities. The Alchymist is truly one of those \'over the top\' hotels that offers wonderful accomodations along with great service. The hotel is beautifully decorated with many sitting areas, artwork, gold mirrors and statues. The included breakfast was very extensive, the spa and steam room very relaxing and the evening wine & cheese (complimentary) gathering all added to a great stay. The hotel is located on the \'quiet side\' of the river and is ideally located within walking distance of all the \'sites\'.

Essex, England

Just come back from staying here. What a fab hotel. Wonderful rooms, great service, nothing too much trouble. We stayed in a junior suite (special 3-2 discount on in March). Urge you to use this deal, makes a great expensive hotel just within reach.

Downside - right next to the American Embassy, which either made it the safest or most dangerous place in prague depending on your point of view! Other than that it was in a great place, very close to Charles Bridge (5 mins)

If you stay here you should try out the restaurant literally 30m just round the corner. It\'s called David\'s and the czech soup is quite sublime.

Didn\'t have any problems - no hassle, no drug offers, no money changing offers. All probably because the hotel was nowhere near Wenceslas Square which you should definifitely avoid like the plague.
